Waterside Cottage is just gorgeous, the view from the balcony to Fowey is stunning whether the weather is good or (as in our case) tipping it down with rain. The 2 local pubs are literally just down the hill, we dined out 4 times and enjoyed every meal. The passenger ferry is fabulous for exploring Fowey. Do not underestimate the steps to get in anRead mored out of the property and the steepness of the village. The gorgeous walks more than make up for it!! Hide

Beautiful cottage nestled amongst the houses in polruen. A terrific view over the estuary to Fowey . Very peaceful and relaxing. The cottage has everything you need which is great, so you dont have to carry it all from the car. Brian (our dog) slept peacefully every night.

A really well refurbed little cottage with wonderful view - as read in other visitor reviews the steps down to the property are very steep slate steps, some people would find these tricky. I love how dog friendly it was with booking and the small welcome hamper was a nice touch. Dog walking from the village - you don't need a car for at least a few days. Loved it. Hide

Beautiful position with good views of the harbour. Bedrooms small but adequate. Living areas feel spacious and comfortable. The day bed proved very popular. The number of steps down to the property were somewhat daunting every morning but it improved our fitness.

Lovely comfortable cottage and great view. Polruan is a lovely quiet village. Just be aware that there are a lot of steps as mention in the description, you go down some very steep steps then along a walkway and then up steeps steps to the cottage door. You may want to consider this when packing and what you take.

Superb. One of the best cottages we have ever stayed in with the best view. The beds were very comfortable. The location was quiet. The balcony was a definite plus. Access was difficult, as we were warned on the website, and with knee trouble this was an issue, but it was so good it was worth it. We will book again, but perhaps after the knee is soRead morerted out. Hide
