A very relaxing place to stay. It was a long way up a single track lane, but what a view from the parking area. It was so quiet and peaceful. It is a working farm so you can expect a little activity around the place and we found that really charming. The owners are farmers and work hard, you can see them going about their work. We loved the place.

Rural location - a great place to 'escape' the hubbub of busy lives. The middle of three holiday cottages in a barn conversion, but quiet all the same. We stayed in the middle cottage known on the website as Purple Orchid. Absolutely perfect for all our needs. As a family of four with two 11 years olds. Amazing views. A healthy 45 minute walk to the village. Its a fantastic location and we will be back. The hosts and their dogs were very helpful and friendly. Great for a family who like the fresh Read moreair. Not a luxury cottage exactly but I loved it for its location 2 miles away from the village. Beautiful views from the cottage up a single track road with virtually no traffic. It has all you need and is comfortable, quiet and warm.

A fabulous location with lovely walks from the front door. Warm barn conversion which is dog friendly. Does have 2 storeys and small dogs may struggle with the stairs.

The Cottage was nice and cosy, very clean. It is in a secluded spot as it says on a working farm, great for walking and exploring with the dog. Owners nice and friendly, always around if needed. Ignore the negative reviews....if you want 5 star luxury...book into a five star hotel, it's exactly what it says on the tin! Would go again.

Cottage set in beautiful surroundings. So peaceful. Long track up to the cottage so not a quick walk into the village! Lovely if you like to be off the beaten track but close enough by car to get to so many lovely villages and scenery.

The cottage, the view and the location is perfect. Very good for family with kids. We took our two sons (7 and 10) out for a good walk around. The walk was not too difficult but adventurous enough. They loved it and especially the farm visit by the owner (cow and sheep feeding in the barn) and the lovely sheep dogs that kept them company the whole Read more6 days. Hide
