A nice house in an interesting location. Rather near to a busy road, but then good for bus stops. We didn't use our car all week.

We enjoyed our stay at Eastwoods. The cottage is charming and comfortable (with good beds) and is conveniently located for sightseeing in Kent and East Sussex. We visited Hastings, Battle, Dover, Canterbury and Chartwell and can also recommend a walk into Winchelsea itself and a visit to nearby Rye. Eastwoods provided a very comfortable base for a restful week exploring Sussex---mostly by car as we were not mobile enough for long walks. Very well equipped and very comfortable. Very pleasant outdoor patio area for summer eating.

This is a lovely spot. Very convenient for Rye and the coast. Extremely comfortable and well equipped with extras thrown in e.g. milk/juice, mince pies etc. as it was Xmas. Also a lovely Xmas tree.
