Lovely, clean and cosy cottage. Comfy beds and a snug lounge. Nice to be able to see sheep from the windows. Short drive to Camber sands for a great sunset and the seafront at Winchelsea. We spent days in Hastings and Eastbourne. Only downside was the noise from the road in the mornings from the front bedroom.

We enjoyed our week in Eastwoods Cottage - a great location (despite the busy road) to explore Rye & Winchelsea, with the lovely local beaches and countryside.

Eastwoods is a family friendly cottage. Visited with daughter and 2 year old grandson and the owner had thought of everything you could need. Place was very clean, loads of little extras even in the covid time, she was also nearby if you had any queries but left you alone. Definitely need a car or liked a long walk to the beach. Lovely outside spacRead moree with seating and lots of other extras. Would definitely recommend this cottage. Also some good takeaway places in Rye that deliver to the cottage. Hide

A very pleasant semi-detached cottage in a quiet village. A good, central base for visiting the East Sussex coast.

Very clean cottage with everything we needed. Winchelsea is a beautiful village and the local beach was perfect and so close. The cottage is set back from the road so noise is minimal.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. It had everything we needed for our week away. The Rye and Wincheslea area is picturesque and the local beach readily accessible by both car and bicycle and not as busy as those slightly further away. Would definitely consider another visit.

Well equipped spacious property a short walk from the village centre. The property was very warm with plenty of hot water and spotlessly clean. Despite being near a main road very peaceful. Many attractions within easy travelling distance of the property. Made to feel very welcome by the owner and her father who lives in the adjoining property. We had a fantastic week at Eastwoods Cottage. The cottage is very comfortable and homely with a well equipped kitchen. It's a short walk into Winchelsea, a short drive to the beach or into Rye and it made a great base for exploring East Sussex. Communication with the owner was great. We definitely made ourselves at home here and would stay again.

The welcomme of the owner was wonderful with a bouque of flowers, scones with clotted cream and a very clean and well equipped kitchen. The Estwood Cottage was a lovely and very nice place to calm down and it is a good place to start activities at the nearby beaches of Camper or Winchelsea. We recommend the cottage without any limitation.
