A country lane drive away is Rufford Abbey - a charming country estate with acres to explore, a lovely large lake to amble round and the all important ducks and other wildlife to feed. On the same country lane sporting golfers have everything they need at Rufford Park Golf and Country Club, and for those wanting to completely relax there is the Forest Spa at Aqua Sana Sherwood Forest a hop, skip and a jump away. Take a trip to the historic town of Southwell, enjoy tea and take time to visit the marvelous Minster. The very cosy front living room offers a spacious corner sofa just waiting for you to curl up on with the wood burner lit and a good film on the TV/DVD or a book from the shelf. The property also benefits from a lounge/diner with formal dining table to celebrate that special occasion, a comfortable sofa and armchair on which to while away the evening in front of the TV. Leading off the lounge is a sunny conservatory with relaxing bamboo seating – a perfect place for that all important morning coffee. Heading up the stairs you will find the first bedroom, a single with pretty views over the village green and Maypole. Outside Wisteria offers a generously sized garden to enjoy, and a double garage with a pool table and comfy seating for some competitive indoor fun. You will also find a badminton and boules set in Wisteria's cloakroom which are great for enjoying summer days on the lawn. The patio with alfresco dining and seating in the late spring and summer months ensure an all-round country village escape. The cottage's drive comfortably accommodates off-road parking for three cars.
