A deceptively spacious, beautifully furnished cottage on the idyllic Norfolk coast in Mundesley, where a vibrant village community and beach life effortlessly combine in a perfect holiday destination.

Appearances can be deceptive, as highlighted by this charming holiday cottage whose unassuming frontage hides a roomy, contemporary-styled interior. Literally situated on Mundesley’s Back Street, the property is only minutes from the village’s pubs, shops and cafés, plus its inviting stretch of golden sand. You could spend your whole break enjoying Mundesley’s traditional seaside delights, but there’s plenty to see a short drive away. A little way up the coast is Cromer, with its renowned pier and world-famous crabs, while just down the coast Happisburgh’s distinctive lighthouse and ancient heritage will delight local history aficionados. Inland, the market town of North Walsham offers plenty of shopping opportunities and a wealth of handsome buildings.

You step through the front door into a delightful lounge/diner featuring contemporary decor and exposed wooden beams. With comfortable sofas, a dining table and chairs, Smart TV, games console and wood burner effect electric fire, there’s a lovely ambience to this room that will immediately make you feel at home. Across a hallway is the kitchen, with a Nespresso coffee machine, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, while the ground-floor bathroom includes a bath, separate shower and WC. Stairs lead up to the second-floor accommodation comprising two tastefully decorated bedrooms, one double and one twin. At the top of the stairs you will also find a WC and basin. The wooden flooring that runs throughout the property is complemented by warming rugs to offer an exquisite holiday environment.

The patio garden is completely enclosed on all sides by stone walls, making it ideal for dog-owning guests. The outdoor space includes a table and chairs, as well as a corner bench and BBQ – you will love spending time out here dining out under the stars of Norfolk’s fabled big skies. There is no designated parking at the property. There are short stay spaces on the opposite side of the road outside the parish council office or the shoppers car park, both of which are a few yards from the front door. Longer term parking is freely available on Munhaven Close, which is 50m away.

Lovely, homely cottage. Everything we needed for a great stay was provided. Mundesley is a really fab location with a wonderful beach and a good choice of shops if you need them. Well positioned for easy travelling to surrounding attractions. This was our second holiday in Mundesley and we would definitely recommend and return!

This cottage is a real gem - it's a true home away from home. The owners have kindly ensured everything in the cottage has a purpose to make you feel so comfortable! The cottage's location is so close to the sea front, a lovely 5 minute walk away, and key places such as Overstrand and Cromer are only short drives away. Mundesley is a lovely location for walks in the local countryside and beach walks too. We stayed at the cottage for one week and it was just perfect. The accommodation was comfortable with 2 very spacious bedrooms and the downstairs was lovely and very well equipped. It is literally a 5 minute walk down to the beach which was very clean, you can waRead morelk for miles when the tide is out, it was great. A wonderful stay in Cobbles Cottage and it was everything we'd hoped for. Staying in a lovely little town, with friendly people, a couple of pubs to have a drink and bite to eat, and only a 5 minute walk to the beautiful sandy beach with our very excited dog. Adorable cottage, within walking distance to the sea. The cottage had everything we needed, with the owners adding that extra special touch for Christmas! Secure back garden for our dogs, which we are sure if the weather had been sunny eiuld have been lovely to sit in too! Excellent holiday

Cobbles Cottage in Mundesley really was a home from home! The owners had thought of everything, including providing every kitchen utensil necessary! The place was spotlessly clean and the bedding and towels, were fresh, clean and ironed and the bed was so comfortable. Cobbles is an absolutely stunning cottage, impeccably clean throughout. The welcome items included, milk, butter, jam, cakes and even treats for our dogs! Also, dishwasher and washing machine capsules to enable us to use both.we self cater a lot and these items are very rarely provided. Our dogs loved the totally secure back courtyard. The cobbles is in the perfect position to enjoy walks along the beautiful beach ,which the dogs enjoyed even more than us .The owners keep the cobbles very clean and comfortable, perfect, we only hope that by recommending this property, we still find that it has some availability for us to return.

It was extremely clean and tidy and there were instructions and information available for all appliances except perhaps the tv but it was probably quite easy to work out just not by us! We have just returned from a glorious week in Mundesley. The Cobbles is well equipped and has all you need to enjoy a home from home experience. I loved The Cobbles, it far surpased my expectations from the photographs (although they looked good) The cottage feels like a home, comfortable and fabulous attention to detail. We have just returned from a weeks stay at Cobbles in Mundesley with our 11 month old puppy. The cottage is a little gem, very well equipped, clean and comfortable. The owners had very kindly left a pint of milk in the fridge for us, as well as a delicious cake, a bag of croissants and pots of preserves. A really lovely cottage. Beautifully clean with lovely fresh flowers and a selection of cakes were left for us! The location was great too - very near to lots of lovely beaches. The owners were so helpful and even posted us our forgotten electric toothbrush.

We really enjoyed our week here, despite Covid. All pubs n restaurants dog friendly. Cottage very well equipped and very clean. Nice welcome pack and chews for our little dog. The one and only upset we had was that dogs not allowed upstairs and our dog an anxious soul cried when left. He's used to being with us. On the whole fab time.

The cottage was absolutely spotless, the beds were really comfortable, and ample room in the main areas. The welcome pack was really appreciated with milk, butter, delicious walnut cake etc. As others have said, the front door opens onto the road so care should be taken with children and dogs. We had the most amazing 2 weeks staying at Cobbles and enjoying the village of Mundesley. Cobbles was welcoming and cosy, furnished to a high standard, clean and well maintained inside and out. Sun trap of a garden, easy parking near by, and a butchers, deli, post office, green grocers, Spar, chip shop, pub and many more with in walking distance.
