  • Spacious barn conversion located on a former farm, surrounded by rolling countryside in a quiet Norfolk hamlet
  • Situated just a few miles from both the north and west coastlines of Norfolk
  • Located on the edge of an Area of Outstanding Beauty with direct walks from the doorstep
Property code: KT086

This property enjoys an excellent location within easy reach of numerous fantastic beaches, making it the perfect choice for those who want to enjoy a seaside holiday whilst staying somewhere quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of some of the busier resort towns. The development is on a former farm and is in an idyllic countryside location in the tiny hamlet of Choseley, giving a lovely secluded feel to this property and its sister properties with which it shares the site. 4 miles north of the property, the picturesque Brancaster Estate is managed by the National Trust and offers a wide sandy beach, as well as an abundance of wildlife, and an interesting Roman fort. To the west, meanwhile, the seaside resort of Hunstanton lies just seven miles from the property and offers a livelier seaside experience with a pier, beachside entertainment, and the Sea Life sanctuary.

This barn conversion property has been thoughtfully styled to create a comfortable and stylish retreat which has the air of a country house. The first room that guests will come to is the dining room which is one of two places to eat and is ideal for enjoying leisurely meals together. From here a door leads through to the lounge, an elegant room which has been lovingly styled by the owners to create an elegant space with some beautiful touches including sumptuous wall hangings, antique furnishings, an open fire, and a reclining sofa. There is SKY TV in this room for catching up on your favourite programmes. Tucked away in the corner of the lounge there is a small but useful study area, whilst at the opposite side of the room double doors lead through to the sunny conservatory which offers a second dining area, allowing guests to enjoy meals whilst looking out to the garden. From the conservatory, a door leads to a hallway where the washing machine and tumble dryer are kept, off from which there is a cloakroom with a WC and a second door leading to the kitchen/diner. At the side of this room, there is a breakfast table, beyond which the kitchen area has a good range of equipment including a range oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. A door from the kitchen leads back round to the dining room at the front of the house from where an oak staircase takes guests to the bedrooms on the first floor. The master bedroom is a wonderful retreat-like room with a king-size bed, antique furnishings, and a sanctuary-like en-suite bathroom with a stylish double vanity, a bath with shower over the bath, and a separate walk-in shower. There are two more bedrooms on this floor, a twin, and a bunk bedroom, as well as a bathroom with a bath, separate shower, and WC. The second set of stairs leads up to the upper floor where the remaining two bedrooms are situated. The first of these is a king-size room with a sloping ceiling, and an en-suite shower room offering a shower and WC, whilst the property’s fifth bedroom is another twin room.

Outside, the property enjoys an enclosed rear patio which is accessed through the conservatory and which offers a large outdoor table and chairs. To the front of the property, meanwhile, there is a shared driveway with a private parking area for this property allowing guests to park three cars.

This house was comfortable and spacious, and had pretty well everything we could need or want, including an open fire which made for great family times. We also appreciated the different configurations for dining, in kit/diner and conservatory. The location also was perfect, being quiet yet within easy reach of local beaches/villages; and on clear Read morenights, the view of the night sky was to die for. Hide

Lovely barn in a small hamlet but with easy access to the Norfolk coast. Plenty of space for a large family and very well equipped.

A surprisingly roomy mid terrace barn conversion with quirky decorations and interesting collection of brown furniture that gives a feeling of a mini stately home. But all mod cons. Children enjoyed the reclining sofas! A large communal lawn in front for the children to play games on. Very Convenient for all the pleasures of N W Norfolk.

Very comfortable accommodation in very pleasant surroundings. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need. Ample bathrooms for 6 adults and 4 children. Loved the quirkiness of the house, we called it the 'house of tables and mirrors'. The house was comfortable with plenty of kitchen utensils, cutlery etc. Lots of games and books if you don't take your own. Beautiful place and perfect location for us. House had everything we could need and more in the kitchen equipment and the whole house was so comfortable, welcoming and stylish. Stunning sunsets and geese flyovers plus lots of bird activity in the back garden. Had such a wonderful stay with my family. Thank you very much for the attention to detail.

Great place to stay, we loved it, big family holiday - plenty of space, location was good but to get anywhere we all had to get in our cars, the country roads arent ideal to walk especially with children. But overall would recommend, a lovely, spacious home with lots of room!
