A family-style property offering comfortable accommodation for eight guests, situated in the North Norfolk village of Langham, just 2.5 miles from the picturesque Norfolk coastline.

This property enjoys the best of both worlds, surrounded by attractive countryside and yet only a 1 miles from the beach at Blakeney, known for its abundance of wildlife and scenic seascapes. The beach here is best for those who like a quiet stretch of sand without any distractions such as amusement arcades, although there are shops and places to eat in Blakeney itself. For a livelier day at the sea, head to Cromer which, at 15 miles away is still within easy reach, and offers two sandy beaches with a pier offering traditional entertainment, as well as an excellent range of independent eateries, many of which serve delicious local seafood.

A covered porch leads guests to the front door of this property which opens onto a small hallway, off from which a door leads through to the lounge. This spacious room offers guests a comfortable spot in which to relax and unwind, with a choice of seating arranged for the TV/DVD and the warming open fire. Returning to the hall, guests will find a second door opens onto the dining room which is furnished with a table seating eight, and a traditional dresser where guests will find a radio and CD player. The property’s kitchen is accessed through the dining room and offers a good range of equipment, including an oven, hob, fridge, freezer, and dishwasher, whilst the washing machine, tumble dryer, and microwave, can be found in the adjacent utility room. Leading off from a hallway towards the rear of the property, there is a shower room with a shower and WC, as well as a twin bedroom. The three remaining bedrooms can be found upstairs on the first floor, the first of which is a spacious double room which benefits from an en-suite bathroom with a bath and WC. The other two bedrooms on this floor are both twin rooms, one of which is accessed through the other. The main bathroom on this floor, meanwhile, offers a shower-over-bath and WC.

To the rear of the property, guests will find an enclosed garden providing guests with a pleasant space to sit out and enjoy alfresco drinks or dining. There is garden furniture and a BBQ provided. To the front of the property, a driveway has space to park three or four cars.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

This is a great spot for a family holiday. The property feels like a home that is lived in which makes it is easy to relax rather than a show home where you are tip toeing around trying not to disturb anything. Great location, quiet village close to the coast.

This is a lovely house which we have stayed in many times over the past 15 years. It is clean and comfortable, light and airy with great views. The only drawback is that if you have dogs there are no safe walks nearby unless you drive a few miles. It is ideal for young children and I would heartily recommend it.

Great location for cycling or walking. Lots of pretty villages in surrounding area. The house is spacious & works for a large family group. The cottage does need updating though both inside & out.

Located in a lovely position. Comfortable and ideal for a family of 6 to 8 people. A real Christmas tree was in the property which was a nice touch.

Overall a superbly located property for the sea, pubs & restaurants. Good size property for 8 no people and great for dogs as the rear garden was completely enclosed.

Great location close to a great pub in a pretty village. Overall the house is comfortable, there really isnt enough downstairs room for 8, and the house needs some updating. A decent clean would make it more attractive but we did have a lovely holiday . Would recommend for location and amenities but not for cleanliness.

The cottage is very basic but in a good location. Close to Blakeney and Wells-next-the-Sea. The local gastro pub has great food and is dog friendly. If you want somewhere just as a base then you couldnt do much worse.

The cottage is in a beautiful, peaceful location on the outskirts of Langham. We enjoyed visiting Binham priory and the Dome besides the coast. Apart from the above comments, the cottage is very well equipped for three people, and the views from the cottage are lovely.

Good for a group but perhaps only a short stay as some communal areas are limited in size (although we were 8 adults). Dog friendly & enclosed garden. Good rural location with easy access to local towns & beach with car. Very helpful contact with housekeeper & very clean. Local pub friendly & offers good food.
