A contemporary-style single-storey barn conversion property sleeping four guests, situated on a tranquil holiday park in the seaside village of Mundesley on Norfolk’s west coast.

This quaint barn conversion is located in the quiet seaside village of Mundesley, just nine miles south of Cromer on the beautiful Norfolk coast. The village boasts several places to eat, as well as a handy village shop, and an excellent beach which offers a wide expanse of sand at low tide. Many families could easily spend a whole week just in the village, spending their days at leisure on the beach, whilst others may prefer to explore further afield, perhaps taking day trips to the seaside resort of Cromer, the city of Norwich, or on the tranquil waters of the picturesque Norfolk Broads.

Entering this property directly into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, guests are able to make themselves quickly and easily at home. The lounge area offers two comfortable sofas from which guests can enjoy the view over the shared garden or relax in front of the TV. The dining table in this room seats four, beyond which the kitchen area has been finished in a contemporary style and offers an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, and dishwasher. A door in the corner of the living area leads through to the shower room with its shower and WC, whilst a small hallway brings guests to the property’s two bedrooms both of which benefit from their own TV. The first of these is a light and airy double room, whilst the second is a restful twin room.

Outside, to the front of the property there is a lawn which is shared by three other properties and offers a pleasant seating area with tables and chairs. Guests can also enjoy access to a games room offering table football, snooker, a pool table, and table tennis. There is off-road parking available for one car.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

A lovely cottage in a lovely area Unfortunately the games area was not open due to Covid which was one of the reasons for booking due to our party having a teenage boy but understandable. The cottage was very well equiped and very comfortable. Wi fi was good. Our cottage was dog friendly however cleanliness still needs to be top priority

The cottage has great access from the road and you can park directly outside which is a bonus. The shared garden is spacious and peaceful with a lovely view. The property is light and bright and modern. It is basic but because of Covid that was explained. You can walk 10 minutes along the cliff front to the beach which is also dog friendly. Generally a comfortable cottage in a great location for those who like quiet rural settings. Close to beach and coastal path to Mundesley. Good for dogs. A few extra tweaks to the contents of the property would help to make it less basic. We had a problem with the oven but it was dealt with immediately.

Oyster Cottage is very comfortable and spacious for 4 people and dogs. It is in an excellent location on the edge of the holiday village offering a games room and far reaching views to the countryside and not too overlooked. It would benefit from a few homely touches but represents very good value for money.
