A stylish cottage which has been beautifully maintained throughout to present a chic retreat sleeping up to six guests in three bedrooms, situated within walking distance of Mundesley’s sandy beach.

This property is located in the village of Mundesley, an attractive seaside village on the North-West Norfolk coast. The beach is a fantastic place to while away your time, sunbathing, paddling, and playing beach games in the summer, or enjoying scenic walks at other times of the year. In summer there is a lifeguard patrol on the beach, making it a good choice for families. Travelling 8 miles north around the coast will bring visitors to the popular town of Cromer, known for its two sandy beaches, pier, and excellent range of restaurants and cafes.

Two external steps lead up to the front door of this house. Once inside there is a hallway, which leads through to the main lounge. This lovely light-filled room has been styled as a chic retreat and boasts an open fire, comfortable seating, as well as a TV/DVD, and a selection of children’s toys. A door leads through to the dining room, a pleasant room with a feature fireplace and a dining table which comfortably seats six. From here a second door brings guests to a third bedroom with two single beds. This room overlooks the garden which can be accessed by a French door. The galley-style kitchen can be found just next to the dining, and is equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine. A shower room on this floor has a shower and WC, whilst the main bathroom is situated on the first floor and offers a shower-over-bath and WC. There are two delightful bedrooms upstairs, the first of which is a spacious king-size room which has been thoughtfully finished in an elegantly understated style. The second bedroom is also spacious and has a king-size bed and a child’s fold out bed.

The garden is situated to the rear of the cottage and offers a lawn with garden furniture and a BBQ, making it a great space for adults to relax over alfresco drinks whilst children play to their hearts’ content. To the front of the property there is a driveway which can accommodate up to three cars.

Second visit we like this cottage and location. We particularly enjoyed the morris dancing festival at Sheringham and the steam railway to Holt.
