Holme next the Sea is a picturesque village situated in the heart of the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. A haven for birdwatchers, there are a number of fantastic nature reserves in the area, including RSPB Titchwell Marsh, Ringstead Downs, and the National Nature Reserves at Holme Dunes and Scolt Head Island. This is a fantastic area for enjoying country walks, with the ancient Peddars Way and the Norfolk Coastal Path meeting here. There’s also a golf course and the Bronze Age site of Seahenge. There are plenty of lovely coastal towns and villages to discover, including Wells-next-the-Sea, Hunstanton and Snettisham. The historic market towns of King’s Lynn, Fakenham and Burnham Market are all within easy reach.
On entering this welcoming and attractive single-level holiday home, you will find yourself in the spacious and inviting open-plan lounge/diner. With plenty of comfy seating, wood burning stove, TV and DVD, the pretty and comfortable lounge is an ideal space to relax in. A couple of steps lead up to the charming dining area, which allow up to eight guests to enjoy a meal in style. Large bi-folding doors lead out to decking and the front garden. Heading into the stylishly designed kitchen, you will find it fully equipped with a gas range oven, microwave, dishwasher, American style fridge/freezer and a breakfast bar with views overlooking the secluded rear garden. The washing machine and tumble dryer can be found in the nearby utility room. Exploring this lovely property further you will find four cosy bedrooms. There’s a twin room with a single divan and a high sleeping bed, with TV/DVD and a view over the front garden. There’s also a second twin room, and a master bedroom with double bed, views across the front garden, TV and an en-suite wet room complete with bath, shower and WC. You will also find a second double room with access to a Jack and Jill bathroom. This bathroom can also be accessed via the hall, and features a shower over the bath and a WC. There is also a separate WC just off the entrance hall.
Stepping outside, you will find a long gravel driveway with parking for up to three cars. The house is surrounded by large mature gardens both front and back, and has plenty of seating, decking, a BBQ and an awning for those sunny days. It should be noted that the garden is not fully enclosed. Please note also that there is a shallow pond in the front garden which is a haven for wildlife and the perfect place for feeding ducks, but children will need to be supervised.
