A super return visit to Wild Rose cottage. Clean and very well appointed. A good setting for a chilled and relaxed holiday. Such a great location to reach several areas of Norfolk. The Catch takeaway at The Ship is really excellent (amazing chips!) and you can take your food into the pub garden to eat.

Wild Rose Cottage. June 2024 On entering Wild Rose Cottage we were impressed by the real cleanliness of the property. The cottage is well located, with an easy walk down to the village / coast. The whole place was comfortable and spacious for the two of us plus our dog. Everything you need for a holiday is included in the kitchen, including a CoffeRead moree Cafetiere. Our main negative would be the rear gravel garden which was a bit tatty with an old wooden table and uncomfortable wooden chairs, we Hide

Perfect location for us. Walk to beach, shops and pubs. CH bus route to take you throughout North Norfolk. Very well equipped and comfortable. Lovely secure garden. Maybe more up to date information on bus timetable, places to visit would enhance visit. Also grab handles in bath to hold onto while stepping under shower would help. A superb little cottage, very well appointed, clean and airy. Perfect for us and the dog. The small garden was a sun trap during the day and it was lovely for an alfresco breakfast or lunch. The steps werent an issue for us but might be for some. Very useful to have an off-road parking space. A 10 minute walk to the sea front meant the dog-friendlyRead more beaches (right and left of the central part) were easy to access. Great fish and chips and Chinese in the town. We came to the cottage with our 3 year old. We dont own a dog. On arrival we found dog poo scattered about the rear garden and smudged into the path to the house. My husband cleaned the path and I spoke to the owner about the garden - it was removed immediately by his gardener and he was very apologetic. Only reason I wouldn't recommend this property is due to lack of comfort in the evenings as out all day and how steep the stairs were.
