Close to a stunning beach and set just a short walk from the coastal path and a golf club, this fantastic holiday home is perfect for a large family looking to enjoy this beautiful part of Norfolk.

The pretty and tranquil coastal village of Brancaster nestles on the stunning Norfolk coast between the beautiful nature reserves of Holme Dunes and Scolt Head. Here, you can enjoy a lovely family-friendly beach with miles of unspoilt golden sand, or take in the wonderful views from the Norfolk Coastal Path. There are plenty of delightful harbours, villages and seaside towns to visit, including Hunstanton, Burnham Market, Wells-next-the-Sea and Cromer. There are plenty of opportunities to see local wildlife at nature reserves in Titchwell, Pensthorpe and Blakeney Point. You could also visit the royal estate at Sandringham, the 25,000-acre Holkham Estate, Wiveton Hall and Houghton Hall. Popular towns including King’s Lynn, Holt and Fakenham are within easy reach.

On entering this large detached holiday home, you will find yourself in the welcoming and comfortable lounge, a large sunny room with plenty of comfy seating, feature fireplace, TV/DVD and French doors opening out to the garden. You will also find a large traditional dining room where up to eleven guests can dine in style. Going into the stylishly designed kitchen, you will find it fully equipped with an electric oven, hob and grill, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer and a charming breakfast area. The washing machine, dryer and chest freezer are housed in the nearby utility room. Exploring further, you will find a snug TV/children’s room with TV/DVD and seating. There is also a ground-floor shower room complete with WC. Going up to the first floor there are six cosy bedrooms. There’s one single room which looks out to the coast, and four twin rooms. Please note, one of the twin rooms can be accessed only via another bedroom. You will also find a master bedroom with bay windows and zip-and-link beds which can be made up either as singles or a super-king-size double. There are also two bathrooms: one with a large roll-top bath and WC, and one with an electric shower over the bath and WC. There’s also an additional separate WC.

Stepping outside you will find a large and totally enclosed walled garden at the rear of the property, with lawns, flower borders and fruit trees. There’s a lovely paved terrace with garden furniture where you can sit back enjoy a drink and dine al fresco. A BBQ is available . There is parking space for 2 cars on the road outside the cottage and further cars can be parked in the garden area, please be mindful of other residents parking in the area.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Please note there is a refundable £100 security deposit for this property payable closer to the start of your holiday.

This is a wonderful house with a beautiful, enormous walled garden . Works brilliantly for 4 couples and 3 children but not 5 couples because of the adjoining room . We loved it .

This was the third year a group of friends have stayed in York Cottage and we are planning on making it four! The cottage really is a home from home - very spacious and comfortable with everything you need. The location is great with the beach in walking distance and great walks locally.
