The property sits close to the harbour with spectacular views to enjoy. The neighbouring restaurants, pubs, galleries and shops provide plenty to enjoy, as does the attractive harbour with views across to Whitby Abbey, the old town and Saint Marys Church. You're not far from the beautiful pier extensions and the beach, which is perfect to enjoy a day at the seaside. Walking enthusiasts and nature lovers won't be disappointed either, with the scenic coastal path close by. Or simply enjoy the sunrises and sunsets from the balcony.

Leave the seaside street, walk up the steps to enter the property from the rear, straight into the open plan kitchen/diner, where you'll instantly feel at home. The kitchen area is fully equipped with 2 electric ovens/microwaves, induction hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, ground coffee machine and Bang & Olufsen speaker. Dining in isn't a problem either, with a comfortable dining table with sliding doors to the balcony, where you can enjoy a morning coffee or a relaxing drink in the evening, admiring the views and watching the world go by. Step down into a  beautifully furnished lounge with wood burner, great views and a Bang & Olufsen Smart TV with sound bar and music system offering in-house entertainment for cosy nights in. And just off the kitchen/diner you will find a tranquil king-size bedroom complete with Bang & Olufsen Smart TV, with sound bar and a gorgeous bathroom with bath, shower attachment and WC to enjoy a soak in the bath after a busy day of exploring.

Heading outside the property you will find a lovely private enclosed garden with a choice of comfortable chairs and a table to enjoy a spot of al fresco dining. The owner has another holiday home for personal use and use of this garden area is also permitted.  Whilst no parking is available, there is a 20 minute loading bay in front of the property and public chargeable parking available nearby. The owner can arrange parking permits for £8.50 per days as opposed to £10 per day if bought the same day. The property is not suited to and does not accept infants or children

The apartment was fantastic and spotlessly clean. Everything had been thought of and we would like to thank the owner who also sourced parking permits as well. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would love to return again in the future. ­­­­­

Wonderful position of property, lovely views and a balcony in perfect position. No noise inside once doors are shut. Kitchen had everything needed although so close to bars and restaurants we did little cooking!

We had a lovely stay at St Marys View we come to Whitby quite a lot and this is the nicest place we have stayed brilliant location the owner Mrs Wilkinson so very helpful very nice to meet us on arrival and show us around second day into our holiday we booked again for October. The apartment is fabulous. Wonderful location with great view. Balcony lovely and garden a real bonus and so pretty. The apartment is kitted to a very high standard and all equipment high spec. The owner is really helpful and friendly. The parking permit was a real bonus. This apartment is a real gem and I'd thoroughly recommend it.

Apartment very good and within walking distance of local shops and other amenities. A problem we had with the front door lock was fixed very speedily on the same day it was reported.

Such a beautiful apartment in a fantastic location of Whitby overlooking the Abbey and harbour with only a few steps to an amazing sandy beach. Having spent a very busy week here we were very relaxed and being in the hub of Whitby had a very peaceful sleep every night.
