This light and airy accommodation benefits from superb views of the neighbouring church and also glimpses of the famous Wells Cathedral. This recently renovated accommodation is close to the centre of the historic city of Wells and also provides many home comforts.

Wells, with its array of cafes, pubs, restaurants and individual boutique shops is renowned for its stunning architecture the finest example of which can be seen in the cathedral and adjoining moated Bishop's Palace. It also plays host to a twice weekly market (Wednesday and Saturday) which makes for enjoyable browsing. Days out nearby, for all ages include Cheddar Gorge and caves, Wookey Hole Caves and mystical Glastonbury with the Tor, Abbey ruins and Chalice Well and gardens. For keen shoppers there is Clarks Village at Street. Slightly further afield are Longleat House and Safari Park, Stourhead House and Gardens, historic Bath, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its Roman baths and the Fleet Air Arm Museum at Yeovilton.

Upon entering this property you will find yourself in the kitchen/dining room with integrated oven and electric hob, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment and washing machine. A perfect spot to enjoy breakfast before a day out in the city. From the kitchen you will find the ground-floor small single bedroom which has its own en-suite WC. Heading up the cottage style stairs you will find the light and airy lounge with views over the neighbouring church and glimpses of Well's cathedral. Sit and enjoy a film on the TV and DVD player or listen to some relaxing music on the hi-fi. From here you will find the double bedroom and the shower room with electric shower and WC.

Outside: You have use of the owners' garden perfect for a relaxing evening outdoors, accessed to the side of the owners' property. Allocated off-road parking for 1 car, making your stay in the city even simpler.

Lovely 'cottage'; elegant, tall rooms, well planned spaces: no florals or frills, calm, thoughtfully decorated and well curated small book collection. Amenities great e.g heating swift/responsive, hot water constant; (wifi a little limited for our teenager!) Wonderful quiet location, really close to city centre. Perfect property for walking into Wells and exploring the beauty of Somerset. Great airy lounge for soaking up the afternoon sun with a backdrop of the adjacent church. And truly grateful for the owners being thoroughly accommodating following our car issues at the end of our trip.

This cottage annexe has a very cosy, feel at home vibe to it. Modestly furnished, and comfortable. Its main draw is its location - approx a 10 mins walk from the centre of Wells. Its situated in a quiet off road location, next to St Thomas' church. In a good position, just a few minutes by car to the city centre yet no noise problems at night. Good powerful shower, very comfortable bed.

Lovely location, quiet and only a short walk into the city. Loved the layout of the annexe - it was clean, warm and comfortable and we appreciated the tea/coffee and milk provided on arrival. Would recommend they replace some of the worn, tired furniture and bedding.

The location good near to shop and garage. Anyone who has difficulty with stairs may find the number of stairs a problem. Also the size of the door to the shower would be difficult for anyone very overweight. Owners soon put right the small problem we had with smoke alarm

Excellent accommodation with everything you would need provided. Good location for exploring area as only 40 to 45 minutes by car to Bath, Bristol, Weston-super-Mare etc. Wells is a lovely place to visit with the great Cathedral and Bishops Place and markets on Wednesday and Saturday.

Lovely property within a 5 to 10 minute walk of the cathedral and city centre. Good walks around the area as well. Allocated parking very useful. We quickly got used to the church bells ringing. Friendly welcome when we arrived.

Very comfortable, warm, self-contained annexe in the shadow of St Thomas Church. Easy parking right outside but only around a 10-minute walk down to Wells and all its bars, cafes and shops. Some have complained about the church clock striking at all hours... but after the first day I don't think we noticed it. Well equipped kitchen and two comfy beRead moredrooms.
