This classical town house at the heart of Hunstanton in North Norfolk is a superb choice for holidaying families or groups of friends. This property also welcomes up to two dogs.

Hunstanton is a cheerful Victorian-era seaside resort with an entertainment centre and a long beach and promenade to walk along. Enjoy the views over The Wash and make sure you venture to Old Hunstanton for some interesting pubs and eateries. Also seek out the geographically weird and wonderful stripey cliffs nearby. Slightly further afield is the lovely beach at Heacham, the royal residence at Sandringham Estate and Thetford Forest for walks and cycling.

This four-bedroom house impresses from the moment you step through the front door into the hall. Despite the building’s age, the interior has been refurbished to echo today’s tastes and styles. On arrival, you will encounter the broad hallway and the staircase that ascends the upper levels. On the ground-floor, you will soon find two lounges – both with ornamental  fireplaces and electric fires, plus TVs for unwinding in front of. You can watch a rival movie in the second lounge if your tastes vary too much. The kitchen/dining room is a huge space and makes for a great social space. It is kitted out with a large range cooker and oven, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and two fridges with ice boxes. There is an also a dining table to seat by the French doors that open out into the garden. Elsewhere on the ground floor is a WC, found under the stairs.  On the first-floor are the first two of four bedrooms. The first is the master bedroom with a double bed with an en-suite shower room with WC. Next door is another double. Bathroom with WC. The second floor has another double bedroom with a balcony with views of The Wash and an en-suite shower room and WC. The final bedroom is a twin. Also on the top floor is a bathroom which contains a corner bath and WC.

Outside is a large enclosed garden that is split over two levels. There’s ample garden furniture to relax on too. There is off-road parking for two cars on the enclosed front drive way and garden.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Ideally situated. Kitchen and dining room very sociable space and well equipped. Bedrooms and bathrooms also very good sizes. Garden quite small though.

The property is spacious and well maintained. The location is exceptional to access all Hunstanton has to offer. The seafront is a 5 or 6 minute walk, most bedrooms have a seaview. There is parking for 2 cars in front of the property which is a bonus . It is dog friendly and we enjoyed having our dig with us.

Great for a large family and dogs. 10 minutes walk to the dog friendly beach. Lots of space in the house with plenty of bathrooms. Sea views from all of the double bedrooms. Parking for 3 cars. Large, spacious house in perfect position in Hunstanton. Well equipped. Shame the double beds aren't bigger - there's plenty of space!

We had a lovely time in Alexandra House. The size and layout were perfect for us and our friends sharing. The location within the town and the town itself fab. Brilliant to be a one minute walk to Tesco, saved us doing a big online shop and bringing most of it home. We went to the Honeystone for dinner one night due to being closest to the house - Read moreit was ok but wouldnt rush back. Im sure there are nicer places to eat in the town. Hide

A lovely large homely house located in a quiet area close to all amenities. Plenty of space for family fun or for those who require peace and quiet. The rooms are well equipped and the kitchen diner superb. The only thing we missed was a king size bed other than that we had a great time.

A well, appointed, well presented holiday home. Comfortably slept 5 adults, having 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Large kitchen diner, 2 reception room, both with TV. Set in quiet cul de sac, easy parking for 3 cars. Tesco 3 minutes walk, plus easy walking reach of beach, promenade and town. A very comfortable choice in rain or shine.

This is a great property. Well situated for access to the town, the supermarket and the beach. The garden was sunny and peaceful. The large kitchen dinner was just right for our all adult group, allowing everyone to help prepare meals. The bedrooms were spacious and the bathroom facilities were ample. We really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely big house. Good sized bedrooms, two sitting rooms, huge kitchen dinning room. We ate out in the garden surrounded by butterflies. Easy walk down to the sea front, via Tesco. Good view of the sea from front bedrooms. Hunstanton is much nicer than I remembered it, not run down at all. Also discovered Old Hunstanton beach which is good.

In pleasant quiet private close with parking for 2 to 3 cars at front, facing house. There is a small gardens at the bottom of the road and Tesco is easily accessed there down a gentle ramp or steps (5 mins). This house is very spacious and well equipped and feels more like somebody's stylish home rather than a rental property - estimate about 3500Read more square feet. Great base for exploration of this area of Norfolk. The house is very well equipped with everything you could need and is spacious, light and airy. The location is right next to Tesco for all your needs and just a short stroll from town and sea front. So many wonderful villages and parts of coastline to explore but this house made a great base! There are not many places where you feel at home as soon as you arrive. We booked Alexandra House for a 2 night stay with family (inc. 2 young children) and it was thoroughly enjoyable. The house is in a great location to walk to all the facilities in the town and the beach. Fantastic views of the sea from some of the bedrooms. Great sunsets. The patio and garden area very pleasant.
