Ilfracombe is a bustling place at any time of the year, in summer it bustles with families making for the beach and in winter it has an undiscovered quaint, charm which will make you want to return again and again. Within walking distance of the towns Tunnels Beach and the variety of restaurants, bars, galleries and shops to sample and wander around. For walkers, you can enjoy the South West Coast Path or explore further afield and visit Clovelly, or a short drive away Valley of Rocks, Lynton and Lynmouth, Watersmeet and Exmoor National Park. For sandy beaches with excellent surfing facilities, Woolacombe, Croyde and Saunton Sands are just a short drive away and all worth a visit.
