This cottage is located in a quiet area of the Yorkshire town of Knaresborough, just a short walk from the towns attractive Waterside area where visitors can enjoy leisurely walks alongside the River Nidd where they will find pretty cafes and even a boat hire company. A little further up the river the Nidd Gorge is an excellent location for taking woodland walks in tranquil surroundings. The town itself, meanwhile, has a good choice of shops as well as pubs and cafes, a medieval castle, and the fascinating Mother Shiptons Cave. Further afield, the towns of Harrogate and York are always worth a visit, as are the RHS gardens at Harlow Carr.
