This is a most delightful place. We enjoyed staying here very much. We were able to find our way around quite easily We did miss not being within walking distance of local shop or pub for instance. We welcomed the scones and biscuits which tasted great.

The cottage was lovely and clean, very cosy in the unseasonal weather. It is central to visit a lot of the lovely countryside and attractions in The Dales. Would not hesitate to book again,

Very small, but clean, tidy and well-planned cottage, with good-sized wardrobe in the bedroom. Bed seemed new and was comfortable, and everything worked. However, the only outside space, and the view from all but one small window, was a weedy, uneven, rather scruffy farmyard between the front of the cottage and the farmhouse immediately opposite (sRead moreo not private, either - you wouldn't really want to sit out there using the small patio set provided). Building work is also currently in progress. Hide

The only view of the beautiful surrounding countryside was from the kitchen window, which was disappointing but we enjoyed watching the lambs. The outside sitting area was indeed the car park and slightly scruffy with no views. I would sum up by saying we did enjoy our stay and appreciated the welcome pack. If you were a couple who mainly ate out aRead morend just wanted a base, I think the cottage was ideal. Hide
