This property is located alongside its sister property in an historic cobbled courtyard which was once home to the prestigious Royal Oak inn, which has since been converted to a private residence. The town is not only home to a good range of shops and eateries, but also has plenty to offer visitors in the way of tourist attractions including the medieval castle, courthouse museum, Mother Shiptons Cave, and the pretty esplanade which runs alongside the River Nidd. Just 3.5 miles from Knaresborough the town of Harrogate is well-known for its famous tearooms.
Stepping inside this cottage, guests come directly to the welcoming lounge where they will find two comfortable sofas, and a flame-effect electric fire. There is plenty to keep guests entertained for a quiet night in with a TV/DVD and a DAB radio as well as a selection of books and games. In the kitchen/diner there is enough space to comfortably seat four diners, alongside a good selection of equipment including an oven, hob, microwave, and fridge/freezer. The washing machine and tumble dryer, for those that need to do laundry whilst away, can be found in a separate utility room. Both bedrooms can be found on the first floor, both of which benefit from en-suite facilities. The bedrooms are super-king-size rooms, each with zip-and-link beds which can be separated into twins on request. Bedroom One has an en-suite bathroom with a double-ended bath, handheld shower, and WC. Bedroom Two, meanwhile, offers an en-suite shower room with a walk-in shower and WC. Outside the property there is a courtyard area which is shared with the neighbouring property and which offers a seating area with garden furniture and enough space to store two bikes. There is off-road parking available for two cars parked tandemly.
