Whether a romantic break, sightseeing or simply time to recharge the batteries, this stylish barn conversion located on the edge of Constable country will make the ideal home from home. Walkers and ramblers will find many scenic walks locally or perhaps tour by bicycle some to the quaint medieval villages which can be found in the area. Clare and Long Melford are renowned for their antique warehouses, shops and boutiques. A day trip to the Heritage coastline is highly recommended with beautiful seaside towns such as Walberswick and Aldeburgh to explore. For wide ranging cultural and culinary delights, the historic cathedral cities of Colchester and Bury St Edmunds are a short drive away.

This single storey barn conversion is entered via an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with full height ceilings which continue throughout the property, and brick flooring adding both charm and character. In the lounge area, the free-standing wood burner adds an element of romance and cosiness to any evening while guests relax on the comfortable sofa and watch a film on the Smart TV & DVD player . A dining table provides a place to enjoy meals together and plan the days activities. There are two inter-connecting doors with the other half of the barn conversion which can be opened up if required, allowing both barns to be joined as one, to sleep parties of up to six. The well-equipped and contemporary kitchen comprises electric oven and hob, fridge with ice compartment, dishwasher and a handy washing machine. Moving through to the double bedroom, which includes a Smart TV allowing guests to snuggle up to watch their favourite programmes and completing the accommodation is an en-suite shower room with shower and WC.

Stepping out through the lounge doors guests will find an enclosed garden with views out over paddocks and farmland beyond. A patio area with garden furniture and BBQ provides al fesco dining opportunities during the warmer months. There is off-road parking available for one car.

Everything as described on the website. Clean, functional, attractive accommodation in beautiful countryside where everything necessary is provided. Just sit outside on the patio drinking in the peace and quiet, and listening to the birdsong and distant bleating of sheep.

A brilliant property and perfect for a quiet get away from it all break, with everything you need to make it perfect. The countryside around is beautiful and great for walks in the nearby wood and parkland. The farm shop in the village stock most things and the food in the Shoulder of Mutton is good.

We had a wonderful Easter break at Quince Barn. The enclosed garden was perfect for our golden retriever who enjoyed lying out on the patio watching the world go by. Lots to do in the area, very quiet, the barn was warm, cosy and comfortable, great facilities. Well definitely be returning.

A beautiful, clean cottage set in a lovely location. It is really cosy and warm and has everything you need. Lovely welcome from owners with some local bread, jam and milk, together with a card welcoming us. Nice walk with our dog through the countryside and also into town. Off road parking. Near to farm shop and worth a walk to the Fox Den Cafe, wRead morehich allows dogs for a well earned coffee or even Shoulder of Mutton Public House for a pint. I would definitely come back again. Very welcoming hosts, Jackie was always available if we had any questions. Great place for walks, really quiet out in the country. We stayed in both barns and they are very much the same except fig has the additional bed and bath. Easy to use underfloor heating and nice and toasty. Wood burner a bonus. A delightful barn conversion which is well appointed and sits in a lovely rural location. Arrival was easy with the given instructions, with the barn being spotlessly clean, along with a lovely breakfast welcome pack. A safe enclosed front space allowed our dog to explore whilst we unpacked, along with an enclosed rear for peace of mind during our Read morestay. Quince barn, and Fig barn next door, are the perfect place for a quiet getaway with friends. The barns are very tastefully furnished with everything you need. The cottage and location was lovely and quiet with plenty of places to walk to, I'd recommend Arger Fen. In the village there's a good Village Shop and very friendly tea room nearby. We didn't try the local pub the Shoulder of Mutton, but were told that is very nice, the reviews were good to. The cottage is half of a barn conversion. Fully equipped with all mod cons. Great to have an enclosed and safe back garden and enclosed front space to get the dogs in the car. Great location, very quiet but near to a village.

Quince Barn is a lovely place to stay for a relaxing and chilled break. The location is perfect for those looking for an active break, with loads of walks on the doorstep and tourist attractions a short drive away. The accommodation is bright airy and comfortable, with all the facilities you'd need catering for yourself.

Excellent accommodation for us and our two dogs. Perfectly located to see family in nearby Essex, pre Xmas, as we live so far away in Wales.
