A super coastal cottage near to the city of St Davids, nestling by the coastal path, very well presented and perfect for families and friends to enjoy the best of the National Park.

A fantastic setting where you can join up with the picturesque coastal path, and is one of five properties, that are well placed for enjoying the very best that the UKs only coastal National Park has to offer. Walk down to the super Porthclais harbour, taking your own boat or kayak straight out to sea. Lots to see and do nearby such as coasteering, surfing, boat trips, visitor attractions and discovering coastal villages around almost every cove. A pebble beach at Porthllisky is a short walk away and just a little further to the renowned golden sands of Whitesands Bay. St Davids, the UKs smallest city, is just a short drive away and has a stunning cathedral, bishop’s palace, and range of shops and eateries.

Entering into what is believed to be the former servants’ quarters of the harbour master through a short hallway, where there is a handy WC and then into the beautiful open-plan lounge/diner. The lounge is a characterful room and has an inglenook fireplace, a wood burner and a TV, making this a cosy retreat any time of the year with comfortable sofas to relax and unwind with friends. There is a well-equipped galley style kitchen with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Head upstairs to the first floor sleeping accommodation, with three king-size double bedrooms to choose from, two with rural views and all with TVs. The third king-size bed is accessed via a box step and can only be accessed from one side. There is a family bathroom on the first floor with shower over bath and WC. Thoughtfully finished and laid out, this a very welcoming cottage suitable for both families and friends looking for a super retreat.

Outside there is a good sized, enclosed garden with garden furniture and BBQ looking out to the harbour and bay beyond. There is also ample off-road parking for three cars.

The kitchen was well equipped but there was no can opener. My husband left a voicemail for Gary the caretaker on our first evening, about this but never received a reply. I borrowed one from people staying at another property. I messaged Gary about this once we had left and also reported that the stick blender had fused so that these things could bRead moree addressed for next people. I also recommend the points I made above. His replies were quite staggering and anything but conciliatory. Hide

This is a good cottage for four adults but not set up for six. Good location on the coastal footpath. Not really any views as the windows are quite small. Well maintained and clean.
