This is a beautiful cottage inside and it exceeded our expectations the moment we walked in through the door. It has been finished beautifully and it is a pleasure to spend time in, especially the main living/dining/kitchen room with the double height ceiling and lovely beams. Very pretty cottage, really cute walled garden and lovely village location. Loved hearing the primary school kids and appreciated the caretaker letting me know I could call upon him if there was a problem. No problem. Only criticism, I was not booked to stay longer.

We were stuck in the cottage a lot because of a week of rain but still really enjoyed it. Farndon is a lovely village that has more to offer than is first apparent. The cottage is well equipped and to a high standard. It is clean and white, lovely timber everywhere and looks great. We had a small dog but the back garden was sufficient for him as weRead morell as loads of wet walks (with lots of towels afterwards). We did have problems with the TV initially and would recommend instructions are included. Hide
