Lovely converted barn offering stylish accommodation for five guests, enjoying a peaceful rural location on the owner’s farm on the southern edge of the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

This property enjoys an idyllic rural location surrounded by the peaceful fields of the owners farm and the surrounding countryside of the Washburn Valley. The property is ideally situated for those who enjoy walking with Swinsty and Fewston reservoirs within easy reach. Ideal for exploring local towns and places of interest. The vibrant City of Leeds with its excellent range of shops, lies just fifteen miles away, whilst the spa town of Harrogate is even closer, just 9 miles of the east. Enjoy fantastic wonderful day trips to Bolton Abbey, RHS Harlow Carr, or explore the fascinating Brimham Rocks.

Three external steps lead up to the front door of this single-storey property, which opens directly into the attractive open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The first thing that guests will notice when they step inside is the wonderful sense of light which is afforded thanks to two large picture windows looking out on to the garden with fantastic views across the Valley beyond. The lounge area features comfortable seating to relax in front of the TV/DVD in the evenings or perhaps unwind with some music played on the hi-fi/iPod dock. A dining table sits in the centre of the room, and the kitchen area has been thoughtfully equipped with a Range oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. A doorway leads from the living space to a corridor off from which the two bedrooms can be found. A single step up leads from the hallway to the first bedroom, the attractive master bedroom with its kingsize bed and co-ordinating furnishings and TV. The en-suite bathroom to this bedroom has been lovingly finished and offers a sumptuous slipper bath and WC. The second bedroom is a spacious triple room offering a second kingsize bed alongside a single. This room has been finished to the same high standard of the master bedroom and offers a full-tiled shower room with walk-in shower and WC and a TV.

To the front of the property there is a pretty garden area which offers a patio seating area next to a pond and a small stream. There is garden furniture provided to help guests to make the most of this relaxing space, which makes a lovely spot for enjoying alfresco dining. There is off-road parking available for up to two cars.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Beautiful clean and comfy converted barn ina beautiful location with fields and wildlife all around and just a short drive to many local towns and Harrogate main centre is only about 20 mins away

The setting of this cottage is beautiful and within a short drive to lots of areas of interest. The owner is lovely, very welcoming and helpful; making suggestions for places to visit. The cottage has everything you need including the best bath I've ever seen. I would highly recommend this cottage for a very relaxing holiday in a beautiful part of Read morethe Yorkshire Dales. A really lovely place to relax. The cottage is beautifully furnished in a modern style that suits it perfectly, and all furniture and fittings are of excellent quality. The views are beautiful and right up to the door. A green and pleasant land indeed! Highly recommended.

The cottage is very comfortable and a great place to relax and unwind. Comfortable beds, spacious bedrooms and bathrooms and the most wonderful outdoor seating area close to wildlife and with amazing views. Very peaceful.

We had a fabulous relaxing Easter weekend at Washburn the cottage was beautiful with amazing views, it was immaculate and had everything we needed. All high end furnishings. The location was fantastic lots of peace and quiet but within easy reach of Dales towns, walks, cycling and much more. Not to forget great pubs. The location was perfect for us - the peace, quiet and views of the beautiful Yorkshire countryside. But also central and close to main roads for excellent access. The cottage and gardens were beautiful!
