Rhayader (where the new purpose-built bike track 'Pump Track Wales' is located), Knighton and Bishops Castle are also within easy reach. Visit the Elan Valley, Clywedog reservoir or the Red Kites Feeding Station to name but a few of the attractions. Explore the majestic Welsh countryside and rolling Shropshire hills full of footpaths and cycle routes. As you approach this lovely house, no doubt you will stop and admire the stunning views before you open the door. The lounge is to your right with flagstone floors, feature beamed fireplace, wood burner and comfortable sofas to relax on in front of the TV/DVD, leading through to the spacious dining room with lovey views over the grounds. If you decide to eat in, the well-equipped kitchen is the perfect spot to prepare a meal with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and a table to peruse the recipe books. You will find the large shower room with shower and WC down the corridor, with lots of space for your sandals, boots and coats. The washing machine and freezer are found in the utility area in the large games room with air hockey and hot tub, open at one end to maximise the views. Upstairs on the first floor you have three lovely bedrooms to choose from, the double with en-suite WC, a king-size with en-suite Jack and Jill shower room and WC, also accessed from the hallway and the spacious twin bedroom. All have soft bed lined and have been designed for a good night’s sleep. This house is full of thoughtful little extras to enhance your stay with beautiful views to wake up to everyday.

Surrounded by rolling countryside and wildlife, this is the perfect spot to relax, unwind and embrace the views. The enclosed garden is laid to lawn with natural hedges, shrubs and trees. Enjoy al fresco dining on the deck with BBQ, table and chairs, set by the hot tub and games room. If you are keen on cycling there is a bicycle rack with wash down facilities, there is also ample parking at the property.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

What a wonderful warm welcome from the owners with a lovely hamper and thoughtful gifts. The cottage and surrounds were perfect. The hot tub made it 100%. After many years of holidays in the UK this is probably our best find so far.

What a lovely cottage with everything you need and a hot tub and air hockey table! And in such an amazing part of Welsh countryside. Easy to travel to and find, undisturbed the whole stay. Made so easy after some delays arriving that the owners sorted out things exactly as we needed them. There was a lovely Welsh hamper and everything in it was tasRead morety and there were eggs and milk and things to get you started for you getaway. Log burner is great. Lovely cottage in a farm with glorious walks outside the front door. Bec and Graham couldnt have been nicer and left a thoughtful welcome pack of local goodies and lots of delicious eggs from the farm. Great for families and kids and we all loved the hot tub!

We stayed at Blue Lins River Cottage for 4 nights and it was brilliant. The Cottage is situated in the beautiful welsh countryside with amazing views. The cottage had a very large enclosed garden which was perfect for our Labrador. The hot tub and games area was superb with hours of fun playing air hockey. The outside area was well equipped with paRead moretio furniture and BBQ. We would definitely recommend this cottage as a perfect, relaxing retreat for all the family and will definitely return. Great cottage in a beautiful and quiet location. All the bedrooms were very comfortable and we had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook dinner for us all. The hot tub was fantastic and overall we had a very relaxing time. The owner provided us with all the essentials, thank you for a great stay.
