This truly delightful property nestles in the grounds of the owners home, has been lovingly fitted and furnished in a contemporary country style and provides a perfect rural retreat for families and couples alike.

Ideally situated just into Cornwall and on the border with Devon, you will be able to enjoy the best of these ever popular counties. Off the beaten track offering the peace and quiet of the countryside and for anyone who loves the coast, you will be spoilt for choice with Bude offering a choice of sandy beaches alongside a variety of amenities just a short drive away and only slightly further Widemouth Bay and Crackington Haven are well worth a visit. Alternatively head inland where keen walkers can enjoy exploring Bodmin and Dartmoor National Parks, both famed for their fabulous walks and scenery. Other attractions and places of interest accessible from the lodge include the picturesque fishing villages of Boscastle, Port Isaac, Rock and Padstow, mythical Tintagel with the legends of King Arthur and the Knights of The Round Table, RHS Rosemoor and The Eden Project.

Step inside this stunning property and you will immediately find yourself in the fabulous lounge area which boasts a lovely vaulted ceiling, exposed oak beams, floor to ceiling windows and beautiful countryside views over the Tamar Valley. This great sociable space offers a lounge, kitchen, and dining area, has been presented with a Smart TV, wood burner, and selection of books and games; providing a perfect place to relax in style after a day exploring. The kitchen itself is well-equipped and includes an electric oven and induction hob, extractor, microwave, fridge (with ice compartment), dishwasher and washing machine. Venturing further into the property you will find that the sleeping accommodation is handily arranged on the same level which makes this property a perfect option for all ages. The first of the pretty bedrooms is a double and the second a twin and both rooms boast a fabulous en-suite shower room with WC and also French doors to outside, meaning that you don't need to venture far to enjoy a morning coffee in the open air.

Located outside and accessed via the large patio doors from the lounge area, a large decked terrace with garden furniture and a BBQ has been provided for your relaxation and leisure. Further to this guests can enjoy access to 10 acres of pasture land with a dedicated field with cut walkways leading to a lakeside setting and this offers a further decked BBQ area with seating. Undercover storage for bikes and outdoor equipment is available; as are a selection of outdoor games including badminton, table tennis and croquet. Private off-road parking for two cars is provided.

The property was excellent and the owners helpful. Ideal for a family of four and a dog who was made welcome with blankets towels etc . Overall an excellent base. The owners came to see us before we left - very friendly and asked if anything could be improved - will definitely recommend if asked thanks

We had a fantastic week in this fantastic rural retreat. The lodge has been well designed and equipped and has everything you need. It is furnished to a very high standard and practical too. We appreciated the kitchenware and crockery, sharp knives and good glassware! The bed was super comfortable. Our pup was made welcome and the owners were v. heRead morelpful. This was a great location for some peace and quiet. It was also really lovely accommodation. Very clean, very practical and had everything we needed. We really had great time. We had a fabulous stay at the absolutely beautiful Lodge at Linhay. It is beautifully decorated and very well equipped. Everything was perfect and we received a very warm welcome from Annie and Chris - they are fantastic hosts.
