What an amazing holiday cottage, kept to a very high standard with everything you could think of for a great holiday stay. We loved the beautiful sunny private garden overlooking fields, a great way to start the day sitting in the sun eating breakfast. This is a great family friendly cottage in the middle of the countryside. It is very quiet , no road or farm noise at all. Good location for starting even short bike rides into the new forest. The kitchen is fully equipped and all the appliances are modern and new. Nice touch to have to bath under a skylight. Downton, nearby has everything you needRead more shopping wise but is still picturesque and has at least one amazing pub. Hide

The house was fab, lots to do within a half hour drive. We went for a walk around The Moot and the kids paddled in the lake. We did some cycling, had a picnic in the forest. Go Ape at Moors Valley was a huge hit even though it rained, so much to do there. This was our 3rd visit to The New Forest, well be back again.
