This delightful Devon retreat is situated in the heart of the seaside resort of Dawlish Warren.  A sandy beach and all amenities are within easy reach, making this the perfect getaway.

This stylish and cosy apartment is perfectly situated in a quiet area but only a moment’s walk from an array of shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. A short level walk takes you to the blue flag beach and nature reserve, home to many rare species of birds and plants.  Keen walkers will enjoy the Exe Estuary Footpath, leading all the way to Exmouth via Cockwood with its charming harbourside pubs, Powderham Castle, the bustling city of Exeter, and the quaint old port of Topsham.  Regular trains also follow this route - said to be one of the most beautiful rail journeys in the world - and for boat lovers there is a ferry from nearby Starcross to Exmouth.  From Exmouth you can enjoy cruises or fishing trips, or get a water taxi to the famous River Exe Café in the middle of the estuary.  In the other direction, Teignmouth, Newton  Abbot and the historic maritime city of Plymouth are all within easy reach by rail or road.  For those truly wishing to get away from it all, a visit to the awe-inspiring landscape of Dartmoor is a must.

The apartment is on the second floor and the open-plan living area has far-reaching views across the estuary to Exmouth and the Jurassic Coast.  It has been beautifully refurbished and has underfloor heating throughout.  The fully-equipped kitchen offers an electric oven and hob, fridge-freezer, washer-dryer and dishwasher, and the fabulous living area has an electric reclining sofa - the perfect place to relax while watching the 55" smart TV with Netflix and soundbar.  There is also a private balcony with seating; a great space to enjoy your morning coffee or evening drinks.  The master bedroom is a very comfortable kingsize with its own separate dressing room, and completing the accommodation is the bathroom, which offers a bath with shower over, basin and WC as well as colour-changing LED mood lighting, steam-free mirrors, and a Bluetooth speaker.  Outside there are large and well-kept communal gardens, and an allocated parking space.

The second floor flat offers great views across the River Exe and is well equipped with everything you need for a holiday. The reclining sofa is a great way to spend a relaxing evening in front of the large wide screen tv. My wife particularly liked the separate dressing room, which offered plenty of wardrobe space. The Devon Cream Teas on arrival Read morewere a lovely touch. The apartment block doesnt have a lift (which we were fine with) so be prepared to carry your cases up 2 flights of stairs. Hide

This apartment is amazing. Nothing has been forgotten to make your stay comfortable. On arrival there are scones, jam and clotted cream laid out on the table, gorgeous, with a welcoming note. The bed is so comfortable, you cant fail to sleep well. There is a wonderful view across the bay. The complex of apartments is clean and very well kept. The ORead morewners live more or less opposite in another block of apartments and are there if needed, which you really shouldnt do! Its perfect. Hide

Spotlessly clean, well equipped with everything you could want, nice welcome pack including fresh milk, tea, coffee and cream tea. Ideal location with everything in easy walking distance and excellent transport links if you want to leave the car behind. Hosts were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

This apartment is very well appointed and only a short walk from Dawlish Warren with all its attractions, including a funfair, go-karting, a lovely promenade with easy walks, and a railway station with frequent trains along the scenic seaside route to Dawlish and Teignmouth.

Great location for this property. Clean tidy and very well equipped for our stay. Pubs and restaurants close by and railway station close by for getting further afield. Thoroughly enjoyed our break here.

First of all may i stress this was a top floor flat not a cottage. not a problem but it has no lift. Highly recommend this accommodation The owners had put a lot of thought into it Everything you needed home from home.. . A big spa to shop, pubs in the area. The apartment was extremely spacious and fully equipped. It was very comfortable and attractively furnished. The welcome pack was the best we have experienced and allowed us to settle in immediately without having to find a convenient store.
