This charming cottage is set in the heart of Appledore and is situated right on the waterfront overlooking the estuary, it really is an idyllic setting at any time of year.

Enjoy the North Devon coastline with its breath-taking scenery, long sandy beaches and sheltered coves, as well as attractions to suit all tastes which include The Big Sheep, The Milky Way, Dartington Crystal, golf, swimming and more. You will also be just over a mile from the golden sands at Westward Ho! Popular attractions close by include Clovelly, a unique cliff-side fishing village, RHS Rosemoor Gardens, and Tapeley Park. In the evening visit one of the many popular pubs and restaurants all within walking distance or relax in the patio garden and watch the ships sail past.

On entering this Grade II listed former fisherman’s cottage, you are greeted by a warm open-plan lounge/diner with exposed stonework fireplace, Smart TV/DVD and welcoming wood burner, it is a great spot to put your feet up and relax. The stylish dining area has a glass table and plenty of room to dine comfortably. The French doors from the dining area open onto a patio area. Wander through from the lounge/diner and you will reach the superb kitchen well fitted with electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer, everything you could possibly need to cook, eat and entertain. Completing the ground floor is the separate WC. Heading up the traditional cottage style staircase to the first floor where will find the bedrooms, a king-size with TV and superb river views, a double also with fabulous estuary views and a good size bunk bedroom. Completing the property is the bright and spacious bathroom which is a delight and has a beautiful slipper bath, separate shower and WC.

Stepping outside, the patio area has a charcoal BBQ and has steps up to a lawn area with garden furniture and panoramic view of the estuary and out to sea. There is roadside parking and public car park available, subject to availability and please note local charges apply.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Beautiful cottage, tastefully furnished in an ideal location. The view, across the estuary, especially from the bedrooms was stunning. Safe secure garden for the dog.

Super location. Parking close by and road is wide enough in that spot to be able to unload / load your car. Stunning sea views from rear garden. Lovely village - lots to do close by. Lovely pubs and food.
