Beautiful cottage, perfect for 2 adults, 2 kids and a dog. Easy access to all of the district and villages. Lovely takeaways from Pheasant Inn (bit pricey but nice), fish and chip shop in Flookburgh also did Chinese and best of all was the Fat Flour Bakery with fresh handmade Pizzas. Lovely walks on doorstep. Definitely stay again.

We had a comfortable stay in a light restricted cottage in a remote location with low lamps that whacked my head on a regular basis.

It was lovely and we had a wonderful holiday using it as a base to travel into the Lake District and the Yorkshire Moors. This entailed a lot of driving but we knew that before we booked. We didn't find so much in the local area except for Cartmel which is beautiful. A lovely, well equipped, comfortable base.
