Fisherman will also be delighted with the nearby Waskerley and Derwent Reservoirs. Golfers can enjoy an array of local courses including the renowned course at Slaley Hall. Visit the nearby picture post card village of Blanchland. Explore the World Heritage site of Hadrian’s Wall or travel a little further afield and visit the historic towns of Hexham and Corbridge.

Entering the property through to the light and bright stylish lounge area with a Smart TV and wood burner effect electric fire, ideal for cosy nights in. Next is the snug area great fun for all the family with, TV, board games and books to enjoy. This room is followed by the well-quipped kitchen/diner with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and dining area perfect for family gatherings. Completing the ground floor is the utility room with washing machine and rear door access to the garden and the separate WC. Lovely cottage in great rural location. The cottage was very clearn, warm, spacious and very well equiped. We were made to feel right at home and had a lovely week.

The cottage is perfect for an enjoyable and relaxing stay. It is equipped with everything needed. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. It is situated on a safe working farm in an ideal location for exploring the area on the doorstep and further afield. There is so much to see and do. The Northumberland coast is within easy reach. Great for DurhaRead morem and Newcastle. Supermarkets are close by . The owners are very friendly and welcoming. Would certainly recommend a stay Hide

Situated on a working farm but you wouldnt have really known it. Cattle, Shhep, Chickens working Dog but no noise. Wonderful. A peaceful, relaxing location away from it all. Within easy reach of many local attractions in either direction.

One of the best cottages we have stayed in and weve stayed in many! Extremely comfortable and well appointed with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Although the new owners are relatively new to the holiday hosting game they didnt appear so : they were warm and welcoming without being intrusive and always extremely helpful. A lovely cottage in a VERY peaceful location with loads of countryside walks literally just outside the door. The cottage has everything you need and the owners were lovely and very obliging. There is plenty to do a short car journey away and overall we had a great holiday and would stay again
