Heading inside this picturesque property, you will find the charming and welcoming lounge which is accessed via the flagstone hallway via two steps up and has a cosy wood burner, as well as a TV with DVD and a selection of books to browse, making a perfect area to relax with family and friends. The elegantly designed kitchen is well-equipped with integrated oven and hob, double wall mounted electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and a useful breakfast bar. Exploring further, you will also find a useful utility room with a sink, washing machine, tumble dryer and door leading outside to the garden and parking area. Also on the ground floor is a spacious twin bedroom with a seating area set within the original inglenook fireplace. A separate shower room with WC can be found just off the utility room and completes the ground floor. Great quirky cottage with number of steps into downstairs rooms as well as up to bedrooms. Rooms warm up well with the heating on, didn't want to use log fires, but could have. Provides good access to various beaches for walks, plus various Independent and National Trust houses and gardens. Dorchester a good county town to visit with easy parking.

As a family we take at least 1 large family holiday a year. This cottage was as near perfect as we have yet experienced. Everyone from the youngest to the oldest was happy with the well equipped and clean cottage. As a bonus we saw deer and birds of pray up close on the grounds. When the toaster broke it was replaced within a couple of days.
