This sympathetically restored barn dating back to 1780 creates the perfect back drop for exploring Shropshire whatever the time of year.

Set within the rolling Shropshire countryside between Cleehill and Cleobury Mortimer surrounded by unspoilt views and farmland with waymarked walks and bridleways right on your door step. This area is just perfect for enthusiastic walkers and cyclists. Just a short distance from Ludlow, a thriving market town, busy throughout the year with festivals celebrating good food, arts, crafts, theatre and walking, the showcase for this being the Ludlow Food and Drink Festival held every September. Well served by the National Trust with The Weir Gardens, Croft Castle and Berrington Hall to name but a few. Visit some of the traditional villages within the Black and White trail, Pembridge, Lyonshall and Leominster famed for its variety of antique and curiosity shops.

Take in the views across the rolling countryside as you wander down to the barn. Step inside to the dining area and look up to the vaulted ceiling with exposed beams and a chandelier that take centre stage, the solid oak dining table and chairs will welcome any celebration. This space opens onto the kitchen area with an island that’s perfect for food preparation, the kitchen will test the best of chefs and is well-equipped with two electric ovens, an induction hob, microwave, American style fridge/freezer with ice machine and dishwasher. There is an indoor swimming pool that enjoys sliding doors just perfect in the summer months which you have exclusive use of, and for the more competitive side why not spend some time in the games room, situated under the swimming pool, where you can enjoy a full-size slate pool table and darts. The games room and pool area have the benefit of underfloor heating. The indoor swimming pool has a separate toilet, shower and wine cooler. Fabulous barn in a beautiful secluded setting, a wonderful place for a relaxing break from City life. Lovely and warm throughout, great space for our family get together. Pool was enjoyed by all 3 generations of our family, as was the games room below. Even our dog was well catered for, dog bed in the lounge, water bowl and a large fully enclosed gRead morearden to run around in. This is a beautiful place, the house is decorated and kitted out with all mod cons. The swimming pool is amazing and we loved taking an early dip and watching the sunrise through the windows. The games room was a big hit with the children too. The caretaker welcomed me us as we arrived at the property, helped to take our bags into the cottage and spent an hour showing us "the basics". Much appreciated. The cottage met our criteria in all respects. The swimming pool in particular was a major attraction and was much used. The large grassed and enclosed area was ideal for our dog to roam. An absolutely fantastic place. The house has been completed to very high standards and is extremely well equipped and immaculately clean. Everything you can possibly need is provided. A beautifully appointed barn in a stunning setting, ideal for families and groups. The wonderfully warm swimming pool was a real bonus for us- we especially enjoyed a morning dip before breakfast!
