This spacious room, with its exposed beams, and brickwork, offers a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the views from the Juliet balcony, with comfortable sofa seating, a TV/DVD. To the opposite end of the room, there is a dining table which perfect for family meals, beyond which is the kitchen area, equipped with an electric oven and halogen hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, and a dishwasher. A washer/dryer is located separately in a cupboard under the stairs. The property’s two bedrooms are located on the ground floor, the first of which is a restful double room with its own TV. The second bedroom is a pretty twin room, with attractive exposed brick walls. The shower room with its power shower and WC is also located on the ground floor, conveniently next to the bedrooms.

Outside, the property has its own private enclosed decked area, with outdoor furniture and a BBQ. Guests are also welcome to explore the farm’s grounds, where they will find the resident chickens, and pay a visit to the sheep. David and Sue were wonderful hosts and the welcome food was a lovely surprise. The accommodation was cosy and delightful. I would suggest a look at the hobs as we found them slow to control heat wise and they take a long time to cool down.

We had a lovely week staying in The Granary. Sue and Dave were excellent hosts! The kitchen had everything you could want to be able to self cater. The beds were comfortable and the shower was decent! Cream tea on arrival was a lovely touch. Plenty of space to walk the dogs as well. We would definitely recommend staying here to explore the North/weRead morest of Devon. Hide

Lovely location and welcomed with afternoon tea which was delicious (and a box of freshly laid eggs). The granary is cosy and well equipped. Overall a lovely stay and central enough to travel to plenty of locations within an hour. Local pubs do delicious food too!

Very cosy cottage in a great location. We had a wonderful stay. It would have been good if there was some board family games or something to keep the kids busy on a rainy day. Also, some leaflets or brochures with recommendations of places to visit in the area would be helpful. Other then that, it was great!

It would be helpful to have better guidance to the property when first going there. The cottage is fairly isolated and, after a long journey , or in the dark , with narrow roads you want to get there as easily as possible.
