This superb coastal property has been stylishly fitted and furnished and provides a fabulous base for a family retreat with the beach within walking distance of your doorstep.

This beautifully furnished and styled holiday home is set in the seaside town of Westward Ho! on Devon’s Atlantic coast. The town is popular with visitors and locals alike, thanks to its two-miles of sands and surf, where families can enjoy building sandcastles and paddling in the waves, alongside water sports enthusiasts from the beachfront surf academy. Just next door is the Royal North Devon Golf Club, where guests not only automatically have access to the bar and restaurant but can also enjoy a round of golf at an extra charge. Behind the beach, Northam Burrows Country Park offers enjoyable walks among the sand dunes.

On entering the property, you find yourself in a spacious entrance hall. The reverse-level layout means that the four bedrooms are located on the ground floor. The first bedroom has a king-size bed and has patio doors leading out onto the rear patio and garden and benefits from an en-suite shower room and WC, the next is a super king size which can be made into twins on request (must be stated at the time of the booking) also with doors opening out onto the patio. There is a further double room with high beamed ceiling and furnished in a French style with window shutters and has an en-suite shower room and WC. The fourth bedroom is a spacious twin. There is also a stylish family bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Also, in the bathroom is a large cupboard housing the washing machine and tumble dryer. Completing the ground floor is the snug, ideal for kids, with bean bags, books and a TV. As you head upstairs, on the first floor, guests will find the spacious and tastefully decorated lounge/kitchen/diner. In the lounge area a large comfortable sofa, with room for everyone, is positioned so that guests can enjoy the view or cosy up and watch the TV/DVD. Guests can extend the space out onto the balcony in good weather, where there is further seating available. The dining area is located between the lounge and kitchen where a table with seating provides the perfect space for family meals. The well-equipped kitchen has a contemporary design and offers an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher.

Step outside on the ground floor where you will find the enclosed garden to the rear of the property with garden furniture, BBQ, and, of course, the luxurious hot tub. The first-floor balcony, with its garden furniture, offers an additional space to sit and enjoy the sunshine, with its easy access from the lounge making it the perfect spot for enjoying al fresco dining. Outside you will also find the shed with storage for bikes, surfboards and golf clubs. There is off-road parking provided for two cars.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Beautiful house in a beautiful setting. House was spacious, extremley clean and well equipped! Perfect for families with stair gates, highchairs and cots all provided even a snug room for the kids.

Stayed here for my birthday celebrations with family and dogs. The holiday cottage was beautifully furnished with everything you could ever need and more. Would thoroughly recommend it.

Had a fantastic long weekend break with family to celebrate partners 40th! This house is really impressive and everyone enjoyed their stay. Lots of nice touches, and facilities, and in a great location. Close to town, beaches and pubs/restaurants. Will definitely return for a longer stay next time.

Ideal accommodation for large families or group of friends getting together. Have never stayed in holiday accommodation that has been so well equipped! Beats having to wash up all the time. Wonderful views from the property and close proximity to both beach and town facilities. Would definitely book again.

We could not fault this place, absolutely the best holiday home we have stayed in, the quality of the fixtures and furniture was outstanding, the kitchen was so well equiped, down to the cook books and kitchen scales, and that view was to die for. We went to the beach every day, despite the typical english summer weather being its usual unpredictabRead morele self, but to come home after a chilly surfing session to jump in the hot tub was brilliant. Amazing property, the photos really do not do it justice! I spent the week here for my 21st birthday and it was perfect. The house has everything you need and the hot tub is definitely a bonus, especially with the view of the sea! Its a short walk to the beach which is lovely if it was sunny like the week I was there. A beautiful property, modern and comfortable with everything you could possibly need. Stunning location and views with a gorgeous sunny garden with luxury furniture and a fabulous hot tub. Great for dog walks but it is a good 20-25 minute walk to the beach, however this did not spoil what was a wonderful holiday.

We loved our stay here, the location was perfect and central for lots of dog walks which we planned to do, we did the recommended sunday lunch at the golf club which was fantastic, we pre booked so didn't have difficulty getting in, we loved the lay out of the upside down house and views over the golf course out to sea.
