Wonderful property! Very cute. Absolutely spotless. Near enough to main road links but great location, hidden and so quiet. View was lovely. Hot tub was a treat. Do not hesitate to book if you see your date is available. Host Barbara was lovely. We were sad to leave. We had thai takeout from the local pub, it really was delicious.

Just returned from a four night stay in this wee hidden gem, so relaxing and peaceful, and hot tub is the icing on the cake, even the weather didn't put a damper on it, Barbara certainly looks after her guests, The Murray Arms across the road and The Thai restaurant were also great, we will definitely return Scott and Donna

Perfect location which allowed us to travel to Glasgow and Edinburgh during our stay. We liked how remote it felt but so close to nearby towns that we could explore. Really friendly hosts and a really good takeaway across the road that we would recommend! As well as the distillery that is a 10 minute walk up up road. We would definitely stay here aRead moregain. We had a fantastic stay at Dalton. The owners Barbara and Rob couldnt have been more welcoming and the shepherds hut itself is perfect. We particularly enjoyed the views across the fields from the hot tub and the Thai restaurant opposite is lovely . It is a good central location for sightseeing and some lovely walks . Well be back !

This place is a hidden gem. The peace and quiet are a real tonic after the year and a half we have all had. The hot tub was great with its changing lights and the twinkle lights in the roof of the hut that covers the hot tub. Will be recommending this to my family and friends.

Cottage is perfect for a few nights away with your partner. There really isnt much to do so it is literally relaxing all day which suited us perfect. Probably one of the best hot tub set ups Ive been in. A very quirky little place to stay and id 100% go back. Also just to mention the Thai restaurant is stunning! Had a takeaway twice from there.
