A short drive out of Woodbridge is the famous Anglo- Saxon Ship burial site at Sutton Hoo now owned by the National Trust. Slightly further afield is the lovely Suffolk coastline with RSPB Minsmere, the village of Orford with a medieval castle and picturesque quay, Snape Maltings Shops and Concert Hall, Aldeburgh and the sandy beaches of Walberswick and Southwold. Venturing inland you will encounter constable country with scenic landscapes and various National Trust properties for sightseers to visit.
Guests initially will enter through a large glazed porch before stepping through to the impressive inner hallway. The property is designed so that the sleeping accommodation occupies one end of the home, there are a few steps leading down to the bedroom accommodation, the entertaining area at the other meaning differing bed times amongst the party are not a problem. The sitting room offers comfortable seating for ten guests with mixture of sofas and chairs and enjoys sliding doors out to the patio and pool area, a large Smart TV enables guests to catch up on any must see programmes. The spacious, open plan kitchen dining room creates a great backdrop to any celebratory meal with contemporary table and chairs to seat all. There is also to one side a seating area with a sofa, Smart Tv and books. Catering for all is no problem, as the kitchen is well-equipped with everything needed to cook up any banquet with electric double oven and induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and to help with the dishes after, a handy dishwasher. The utility room provides a second fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and a bench seat with show storage underneath and coat hooks above.A sun room off the dining area provides access to and from the pool and has table football to help with any downtime entertainment along with seating to provide a break from the sun whilst still able to watch those using the pool.Moving through to the bedrooms, guests will find flexible sleeping options. The master king size room has sliding doors leading out onto the patio area and an en- en suite bathroom comprising of a large bath for soaking in with shower mixer taps, a sink, WC and heated towel rail. The other king size bedroom has an en- suite shower room with an electric power shower, sink, WC and underfloor heating.There are a further two twin bedrooms, a double bedroom with sliding doors opening onto the patio area. Completing the accommodation is a large family shower room with an invigorating shower, sink, WC and large cupboard for hanging coats and storage.
Occupying a corner location, the large garden surrounds the bungalow on all sides with a lawn area for children to run off any excess energy. Guests are likely to spend much time during the warmer months around the patio and swimming pool, which is heated and available from May to October. (The swimming pool may not be warm until mid May) Take advantage of the garden furniture with canopy and a gas BBQ enabling al fresco dining. The pool is securely gated and fenced. There is off-road parking for six cars.
