Great location, just a couple of minutes' walk to the main street with all the shops and restaurants, and very close to the pretty Carlingwark Loch. A most comfortable, immaculately clean and spacious property. Very handy location, suitable for non-drivers with great public transport links for exploring Dumfries and Galloway. As an extra to the large television in the lounge, the additional ones in each of the bedrooms were a welcome touch. Ditto the slippers, fresh flowers and basic provisionsRead more were appreciated. Ideal for a lovely break. Locally there are some great food outlets. We would recommend mr Pooks. We were unlucky with the weather. Bladnoch Distillery is worth a visit.

The house is lovely and clean and in a great location for the high street. It is very spacious and we had plenty of room for 4 adults, 3 children and a dog. Beds could be more comfortable and kitchen better stocked with trays and dishes for cooking. Quite noisy while we were there with the neighbours having extensive garden work done with a lot of Read moredrilling. And noise from nearby businesses. Hide
