Super cottage, set in the heart of the Brecon Beacons. Surrounded by wonderful mountain views and great walks, that may just take you passed the local pub and back before returning to a roaring fire.
Nestled in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park, with mountains, reservoirs, beautiful canal, great country pubs and views for miles, this detached cottage is an absolute delight. The cathedral town of Brecon lies in one direction and both Crickhowell, with a range of independent shops and Abergavenny, renowned for its food festival, lie in the other. The world famous town of books, Hay on Wye, is a super day out and only a short drive. Walk from your door and up the lane to the foothills of the Beacons with stunning walks to be enjoyed or perhaps head downwards to the super country pub.
On the ground floor enter through a stable door into a hallway where you can kick off your boots, passing a separate WC and then onto the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge area has a wonderfully cosy feel, with a warming wood burner, comfortable sofas and a TV/DVD. Leading through to the dining area where there is an additional sofa and a large wooden table, with delightful mountain views. There is a sweet, country kitchen with electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and a utility area with a table top freezer and a washer/dryer. Heading down the stairs to the lower ground floor from the lounge leads to the bedrooms and bathroom. There is a double bedroom, a single bedroom, a bathroom with shower over bath and WC and a master bedroom with double bed and shower within the room.
Venturing outside you will find a patio with garden furniture and a BBQ, and an additional small seating area up some steeper steps to enjoy even more magnificent views. There is private parking for three cars.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
