This stylish loft apartment offers a peaceful base within the heart of a historic market town, offering beautifully finished accommodation that’s simply perfect for couples whatever the occasion.

Shipston on Stour is a vibrant market town on the edge of the North Cotswolds. This small town is well served with a host of cafes, independent and boutique shops, and a fine selection of pubs and restaurants for all occasions. For walkers, the Shakespeare Way passes through the town along with access to a number of footpaths to neighbouring villages. Attractions within easy access include Shakespeare’s birthplace Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick Castle and Cheltenham, home of the Gold Cup. There are also many National Trust Properties and gardens including Blenheim Palace and Chastleton House, Upton House and Gardens, Hidecote and Charlecote Park. The highly recommended, and increasingly famous "Cotswold Distillery" is also within walking distance (or a short drive) offering gin and whisky tasting tours.

Arriving from the entrance terrace with views across to the church and stepping in through French doors, you'll arrive in the open plan living area which includes great original features such as vaulted ceiling, rustic oak beams and exposed stone wall. The deep, cosy sofa and large television make this the perfect place to curl up and hide away for a few days. The kitchen, with it's rustic breakfast bar, is well equipped and should provide everything you need to make this feel like home including electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The master bedroom is a generous size with similar original features. Includes double bed with bedside tables and open plan dressing area with plenty of storage space. The en-suite bathroom contains a spacious rainfall shower, toilet, washbasin and heated towel rail and is finished with au lait toiletries and dressing gowns.

The front of the apartment offers a small gravelled courtyard with table and chairs. There is free off road  parking subject to availability.

It was even better than we expected. A perfect apartment for 2 people. Very light, very bright, very well equipped. We could easily have stayed another week. We would certainly book again if it were available. Thank you.

Lovely cottage, absolutely perfect for 2, very comfortable and well equipped. Really convenient for the town centre but very quiet and peaceful and nicely tucked away. Cute little roof terrace.

The Nook is in a great location just minutes from all amenities. It is beautifully furnished, spacious and comfortable and spotlessly clean. Had a really lovely time as there are many places to visit nearby.

This little apartment does exactly what it says on the tin. Everything we could have needed was there and the location was perfect. Shipston has pubs and restaurants that are all great for food or a drink and walking distance. Highly recommend.
