Set in an idyllic village just a mile from the bustling seaside town of Sheringham, this lovely cottage makes a fantastic holiday home for a family looking to enjoy the beautiful Norfolk coast.

This delightful cottage lies in the heart of the pretty village of Upper Sheringham, with the famous Sheringham Park, designed by Humphrey Repton, nearby. From here you can enjoy beautiful walks, head down to the coast, or enjoy the views from Beeston Bump. Just over a mile away is the bustling and traditional seaside town of Sheringham, with its pretty beach and charming promenade. The town offers a fantastic choice of pubs, cafes, restaurants, shops and tea rooms, and is home to the Crab and Lobster Festival and the Viking Festival. You can also visit the Mo Museum or the Little Theatre. There’s also a Steam Gala to celebrate the North Norfolk Railway which takes you through to Holt.

On entering this comfortable and attractive cottage, formerly part of Upper Sheringham School, you will find yourself in the entrance hall which leads to the light and comfortable lounge/diner. Retaining original features including exposed beams and Georgian style windows, the tastefully furnished lounge is an ideal space to relax in, complete with comfortable seating and a TV. There’s also a charming dining area. You will find the kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, washing machine, microwave and fridge/freezer. There is also a ground-floor WC. Moving upstairs, you will find three cosy bedrooms on the first floor. There’s a spacious double room with an en-suite shower room with WC, a second double room with wonderful views,and a charming single bedroom. You will also find a bathroom complete with a shower over the bath and WC.

Outside there is a walled garden, which is unsecured to the third side, and located right by the front door is a super suntrap area with garden furniture, where you can sit back and relax after a great day. Parking for 1 car is allocated outside the garden between the garages, the parking space is tight so larger vehicles would be advised to park on the lane.

A lovely comfortable and warm house in a very pleasant setting. Well equipped with everything you might need. A short drive to Sheringham which has lots of nice eating establishments. Good location for exploring the beautiful coast and interesting towns of North Norfolk. Would be happy to return.

Lovely well equipped cottage in a peaceful location where we could retreat after enjoying the busy nearby beaches. Direct access to the beautiful National Trust Sheringham Park.
