A delightful holiday home in the traditional Dorset seaside village of Charmouth, close to the Jurassic Coast and ideal for visiting popular towns and resorts including Lyme Regis and Branscombe.

The traditional Dorset seaside village of Charmouth is set on the beautiful Jurassic Coast and offers a variety of shops and pubs, all just a short stroll from the door. Spanning 95 miles of the coastline of Dorset and Devon, the Jurassic Coast has been designated England's first Natural World Heritage Site and offers some of the very finest walks and views in the country. The delightful seaside town of Lyme Regis is just a short drive away and offers an unspoilt seafront with sheltered south-facing beaches providing a perfect environment for children to play and for adults to relax. There are many charming resorts in the area, including Beer and Branscombe, as well as numerous National Trust properties and gardens which are well worth exploring. Situated in a pleasant gated complex, this property makes a cosy holiday home and great base.

On entering you will find yourself in the attractive and welcoming lounge/diner, which has a TV/DVD and is a cosy space to relax in. There is ample room around the dining table to enjoy meals with family and friends, and French doors open out to the patio. Going through to the kitchen, you will find all the equipment you may need including an integrated oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The washer/dryer can be found in the utility room and there is also a ground-floor wet room with WC. Heading upstairs, you will find three comfortable bedrooms. There is a king-size room with a TV and en-suite bathroom with shower over the bath and WC, and two twin rooms. Please note that some rooms have low sloping ceilings. There is also an additional first floor bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC.

Heading outside, guests can relax in the privacy of the furnished patio area, ideal for enjoying meals and drinks outdoors. Guests are invited to enjoy the neighbouring holiday park which includes a shared, covered outdoor heated swimming pool (available during specific dates only and not available all year, please refer to the 'need to know' section for details), Char Valley Café which serves speciality teas and coffees and a shared outdoor children's play area. For a reduced charge and available to adults, is the well-equipped Char Valley Health Club, including a gym, indoor pool, sauna and steam room.

Please note there is a refundable £50 security deposit for this property payable closer to the start of your holiday.

  • Swimming pool - use of the covered outdoor heated swimming pool is included for guests and is open for the following dates in 2020:
  • 4th April – 17th April, 9th-11th May, 23rd May – 4th September, 23rd – 29th October. The pool is open 7 days a week in the main school summer holidays between 10am-5pm and closed for lunch. Details of the pool opening times outside of the summer holiday period are available on request, please call for more info.
  • Health Club and Café - opening times are: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday (closed for lunch), 9am-1pm Sat and Sun. Closed between Saturday December 21st 2019 to Thursday January 2nd 2020.
