My wife and I were accompanied by my 93 old mother & 2 Staffordshire Bull Terriers and we met with my brother from Launceston during the week in November. Walked the dogs Sunday morning to the nearby Delabole village but the roads were too busy Monday to Friday. Great location to visit Tintagel, Port Issac, Bude, Polzeath etc. We particularly likedRead more the Golitha Falls at Draynes Bridge with Inkies Smokehouse, Minions and the Cheesewring walking with the dogs. Electric car charger was great. Hide

The cottage was comfortable, homely and warm. Also well located for an easy drive to Boscastle, Tintagel, Port Isaac ect. Nice big garden for the dogs to run in. Fairly secure but with a lowish wall right next to quite a busy B road always had to keep an eye on them.

A comfortable cottage but right on a very busy B road with a 60mph limit, on a straight stretch. The swallows, small birds and insects were very at home around the property and compensated for the noisy road. I did get used to the traffic by day and slept well as things quiet at night.

The barn was in a perfect location making getting around very easy. It was larger than we expected and was set out very well. A few of the kitchen utensils and cooking pots needed updating. We were not prepared for the traffic on the road, sometimes it was quite busy. All in all, it is a great place to stay and use as a base for exploring all that Read moreCornwall has to offer. Hide
