Also within easy reach is iconic Windermere, with its literary history, bustling centre and beautiful lake, while Kendal offers larger stores, supermarkets, art galleries, a theatre and cinema. Windermere and its shores are a wonderfully scenic location to enjoy a huge range of outdoor activities a well as a good network of footpaths. Activities range from leisurely boat trips to open-water swimming, fell walking, cycling, canoeing, and sailing. There is abundant birdlife and plenty of activities, with stunning walks and cycle rides straight from the door.

Up the character wrought iron and railway steep stairway leads to the romantic master bedroom with double bed and en-suite bathroom with bath and WC, and access under the eaves to the balcony.
Outside the property through bi-folding doors is a private patio with garden furniture. There is also an outside shared garden, with three acres of gardens, including an unfenced large pond, which is home to wild ducks, frogs and newts, as well as water-lilies and gunnera. There is off-road parking for one car.
