This is a tastefully renovated cottage with good bathrooms, however the slope on the bedroom floor is difficult, if not dangerous for elderly folk. (I am 86). Although next to the Pub car park the views are good - including the Horses. We enjoyed our holiday - thank you Mr Hare.

Lovely cottage and a great place to stay the location is a ideal place to use as a base camp to get around the Lake District. If you feel a bit tired to cook food you got the white heart pub 2 doors down from the cottage. One thing I would say if you have a big car it can be a bit awkward pulling out of the drive.

It was the best holiday ever, we loved the cottage and the location. The views from the cottage was amazing, looking out to shire horses every day and the pub was two doors down. The food in the pub was lovely and the people very friendly. The Old Hall Farm up the road was lovely too, with the cream teas and the jersey milk. Lovely cottage, great kitchen with super washing machine. Wifi worked perfectly (a great asset when mobile service sometimes patchy). Located next to a pub and close enough to Ulverston if you needed to do grocery shopping. Information in the binder provided was complete and helpful. Close enough to tourist attractions and walking/climbing places. Read moreCompleted redone inside with plenty of electrical outlets and modern bathrooms. Outdoor area as well, bordering field where horses visited every day. Hide
