The Yorkshire coastline is home to a heady mix of peaceful fishing villages, tranquil bays, rugged cliff tops and traditional seaside attractions just waiting to be discovered. With Whitby and Sandsend under 10 miles and Runswick Bay within 15 miles, you'll be spoilt for choice.

Step inside this chocolate-box cottage and make your way along the entrance hall before discovering the spacious, open-plan living and dining area made up of a feature wood burner, soft furnishings and a pretty dining table to comfortably seat six. This is the perfect communal space to be enjoyed by the whole group. Next door is the contemporary kitchen boasting all the amenities you'll need for hassle free cooking, and informal dining at the breakfast bar. As you make your way back down the hallway, you'll be greeted by one cosy bunk bedroom and family shower room located on the ground-floor. The remaining two bedrooms are upstairs, one king-size with en-suite bathroom and one double boasting and en-suite shower room and stunning views as far as the eye can see.

With the exterior being as equally as impressive as the interior, guests can enjoy a spacious and private garden boasting enviable views of the coast, complete with furniture. There is also off-road parking for two cars.

A wonderful family holiday in a beautiful spot on the Yorkshire coast. The cottage is so cosy but yet feels spacious and is well equipped. A lovely garden which we would have used more if the weather had been kinder. The most comfortable bed I have ever stayed in at a holiday cottage.

This is the second time we've stayed at Apple Farm and once again we had a fantastic time. Its location is the best, within the bay and lovely views towards Ravenscar. It's right on the cinder track, ideal for running and cycling. You can walk down to Robin Hood's Bay, the beach and Boggle Hole. My favourite places. This comfortable cottage is in an excellent position with a superb garden. The views are amazing! Does anything else matter. The parking is odd but we did get 2 cars in fine. The local pubs all did good reasonable priced food and you can walk to them all.
