Pateley Bridge is nearby (7 miles), with the spa town of Harrogate just a little further on (21 miles), both with a delightful range of shops, cafes and pubs as well as many historic attractions including England's oldest sweet shop in Pateley Bridge, and RHS Garden Harlow Carr in Harrogate. You can also enjoy a day at the races in Ripon (19 miles).
On entering this tastefully furnished and lovingly decorated cottage you will find a peaceful lounge with a cosy wood burner resting in the chimney, plenty of comfortable seating, a TV and DVD, as well as a range of books, games and movies to enjoy. You will also find an attractive kitchen/diner. The pretty dining area is perfect for enjoying a romantic meal, and the elegant kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and fridge/freezer. Moving upstairs you will find two cosy bedrooms, each with a super king-size bed, one of which can be made into a twin room by prior request. The romantic master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a cast-iron claw-foot bath. The second bedroom also has an en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath. Both bedrooms have a TV.
From the front of the property you can sit down on the bench with a morning coffee and watch the world go by. To the side of the cottage is a charming private courtyard with window boxes and potted plants, where you can enjoy a BBQ in the afternoon.
