The Grand Georgian architecture throughout the area makes for a picture-perfect setting. Just a few hundred yards from the cottage is Pickering station, the start of the North York Moors Railway which will take you all the way to the popular town of Whitby where you could easily spend a day exploring. Beyond the town lies Dalby Forest, just 12.5 miles away and the stunning North York Moors National Park just 2 miles from the cottage. You'll be spoilt for choice when it comes to quaint villages and traditionally British towns to discover.
As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a generous lounge, featuring a stunning inglenook fireplace and wood burner. Perfect for the chillier months, you can really sit back and relax. Make your way towards the rear of the cottage, to the sleek kitchen/dining area, a bright and airy space offering all the amenities you'll require when it comes to preparing and enjoying some home cooking. On the first floor is the gorgeous generously-sized master bedroom as well as the family bathroom with bath, perfect for a long soak. Head up to the second floor to find an additional, bright and airy bedroom complete with soft furnishings for a restful night's sleep.
Outside the cottage, guests can make use of a small courtyard, perfect if you've brought your four-pawed friends along. There is patio furniture and a sheltered space so you can enjoy some al fresco dining if you wish.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
