Set within the open countryside on the outskirts of Newton-le-Willows, a quaint village in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales boasting a gorgeous tearoom and shop. With the towns of Bedale, 4 miles away, and Leyburn, 7.5 miles away, home to charming eateries, traditional shops, country pubs and attractions aplenty, you won't be short of things to fill out your days. What's more, the thriving market town of Masham sits just 6 miles from the cottage and is home to a cobbled square, one of the largest and finest in England, famous for its sheep sales. Beyond this, Masham offers plenty of dining options, a wonderful wine shop and two award-winning breweries - you could spend a lazy day exploring this town.

At the heart of beautiful cottage is the generous open-plan living space, made up of the lounge, kitchen and dining area. Head to the lounge and fire up the contemporary wood burner before sinking into the reclining sofa for the evening. The kitchen is well-equipped with all the mod cons you'll need to rustle up dinner, and the dining area offers plenty of space when it comes to entertaining and enjoying meals as a group. The bright and airy setting makes the perfect spot for meals no matter what time of day, offering pleasurable views out of the window. All three bedrooms are located on the ground floor. The master bedroom comes complete with a king-size bed and free-standing bath for those evening soaks, along with an en-suite WC. The second bedroom is a super-king-size which can be made up as a twin upon request, with the third being a sweet single room. The shared bathroom boasts an additional bath with walk-in shower, no need for queues of a morning.

There's plenty to enjoy outside as well. Step through the lounge patio doors to discover an attractive enclosed garden. Home to a spacious lawn, BBQ and comfortable patio for al fresco dining and evening drinks, weather permitting. Rolling countryside surrounds you and if you enjoy the great outdoors, you won't be short of options when it comes to exploring. The barn also offers off-road parking.

Cant recommend this place enough. Beautiful cottage, beautiful location, very clean and welcoming. It was truly lovely to be somewhere so well equipped and with such a homely feel. We found the location to be perfect, really easy to get to from the A1 plus nicely nestled between the Yorkshire Dales and also the North Yorkshire Moors. My only complaRead moreint is that I could have done with two weeks, rather than one as we only scratched the surface of things to do. Loved it. Hide
