Thornton Le Dale is a lovely place to visit and Gateways is in an ideal location however there are a few issues with the house ...there was mould in the corner of the shower, it had clearly been there for some time [!] and there's a small window in the bathroom missing and boarded up. The furniture in the lounge was looking 'tired' and the garden nRead moreeeds some work. It's not very private both in the garden and people looking in the kitchen window as they walk by. Road noise was an issue for us too. Hide

A lovely cottage but Not 5 star as listed. Cottage equipment not up to standard and cleanliness wasnt up to scratch. A shame because we loved the location and parking facilities.

To be very honest, this is by far the best cottage we have ever stayed at. And weve seen some! So much care has been taken in making our stay comfortable. Perfect for a family of 5. Thanks! We will come back; we have relatives in Thornton and now also a great place to stay!
